Currently, I am single. Sadly, i was unfortunate to date couple of manchild, I am done with them. Took a break from men, at times it felt like I am there to fix their maturity 🤪

Oh lord to be 26 again. That’s closer to 25 😭. I’m 28 and I used to fantasise getting engaged by 23 and married at 25. Massive lol to that plan. Now I think getting married after 30 is more ideal for me. I’m not ready for that kind of responsibility just yet and would like to hold onto living my best couch potato life a tad bit longer.

It means that if someone calls me twice a day I become irritated. It's also like an odd feeling, it never feels right...it feels like I'm forcing myself to like someone. Kaafi ajeeb hai ye😭

Just do not settle for anything lesser than you deserve just because you will be 30 or something. Usually men does not care and can move on very easily, for them relationships are more like a deal, they expect to be spoon fed (may be not all of them). I also had the same fantasy, that some prince will come and i will be with him, marry at 25 and all that fairy tales. However, now i believe that such things do not exist, the more you put effort the less valued you will be, just focus on building up an identity, men will come and go and may be someday you will meet the right person.

Well, always go by gut feeling. Odd lag raha hain toh something must be wrong so good for you that you didn't go with it! Isme sad hone wali koi baat nahi hain.

I wholeheartedly agree on this. Younger me had grown up watching/reading romance themed content and had created a fantasy world in my imagination. I’m a strong believer in fate and have zero stress or rush to get married. If something is meant for me, it will find me eventually. Until then, I’ll enjoy my life as it is with my three cats 😎

I find a lot of people in that situation. Growing up in india, marriage was just the next step in life and not a lot of thought was given to it , by those getting married.. In the older generation, there were men with 2-3 wives etc. Affairs were there-on the surface the formal stuff and those that couldn't adjust had something on the side-but under wraps. It was like living in parallel universes-the formal all is well life for the world and then the side life!

Nowadays it is too much pressure-the one and everything is perfect-not to mention even men have pressure to look good-well welcome to the club! My own arranged marriage, due to circumstances-it took 7-8 years after marriage before we became emotionally close-he was not happy , due to circumstances. but now we love each other and he misses me terribly when I am gone a few days.

it is a different era, with different expectations . We had different problems then, but I guess every generation has its problems.
