Khoobsurat: A good entertainer!

So I caught Khoobsurat yesterday on Netflix and liked the movie. Sonam was good, for a change. And Fawad was absolutely dapper❤️

It was an easy, breezy romantic comedy and some enjoyable moments. The attraction of opposites was done in a clever manner.

Sonam's character was a bit irritating though. Not sure I can imagine a prim and proper prince falling in love with her. But the movie made it convincing somehow.

Sonam is the worst part of khoobsurat for me. Her mouth moves in such a weird way when she speaks in the movie that it bugs me. These quirky, down to earth, loud roles really don't suit her in my opinion. I like her as Sakina, Simran, Aisha and Zoya (ranjahana), Neerja, Sweety. But she never sells me on these roles where she has a loud personality. It was hard for me to tolerate her in this movie, dolly ki doli, and Zoya factor. I would've enjoyed this movie much more if it was another actress. Beside her, the movie had all the right ingredients for a great romcom.

I love Khoobsurat so much! It's one of my guilt pleasured to watch over and over again.

The cast was amazing! I love Kiron and Ratna on tbis. And Fawad is a dreamboat . Sonam is average..better than her usual self but I did like her character. Feisty, honest and full of life

I honestly didn't expect but I loved the movie. Fun, light, sweet, entertaining movie.

Sonam and Fawad make an absolutely fantastic pair. They both really do look good together.

Good romcom movie

This would have been sooo much more enjoyable for me if it had anyone BUT sonam

I love such light hearted chick flicks but the fact that sonam is in it is a huge turn off

She’s not cute she’s annoying af

Someone like Genelia would have been perfect for such roles...or say even Ileana, Kiara etc would have been good ...a young alia would have suited it too although off late she has no spunk

It was a nice, light movie.

I did like this movie.

But nothing beats the original for me. The original is PERFECT.❤️
