I was watching Notting Hill and there was this scene where the actress played by Julia Roberts was being dehumanized by a group of jerks at a restaurant. Unconnected to this, but I do feel that actors and actresses are also human, and just because they are in the limelight does not mean they should be vilified and subjected to irrational hate.

What this case should have taught us that kindness, empathy are important and our words and actions can have far-reaching consequences. What is happening is the opposite. We have partaken of a culture where spreading hate has become the norm.

Kangana is the main reason behind this. She doesn't care about collateral damage, she only cares about her narcissistic fancies being indulged and establishing a supremacy of sorts. She doesn't give a damn about Sushant or any other outsider for that matter.

Whereas the real reason for Sushant's death may be completely unconnected to Rhea. He was in depression and that was probably triggered by professional reasons, but that's again an assumption. Everything is an assumption in this case.

What should have happened was a deep-rooted analysis of what drove Sushant to the edge. The blinds especially was a big clue. Also, the toxic side of nepotism, bullying and hate can push anyone to despair. The culture of treating outsiders as second-class citizens. The deep-rooted favoritism etched in the industry.

yes in part i agree. I think the deterioration of his mental health was due in part to this blind fake blind of harrssement. The family needed to concentrate more on that part who wrote that fake blind? who were behind it? this kind of culture has to finish. And I think he used weed not just for fun but for cure his anxiety problem. many depresses people considering depression a tabu or a damage for the carrer like in sushant case and try to cure themself with alcohol or weed drugs.. Etc sadly because it's difficult to be understood. there Is so much ignorance about mental health in the world not just in india.

Yet now all those people were claiming what a superstar he was and how Bollywood ostracised him and held him back.

Watch how a year from now they won’t even care or remember the man.

I mostly followed his TV career especially his dance shows, watched some of his movies, but was always interested in his interest towards science and space because I myself am a bit of a geek when it come to that. Of course it is saddening he died. But he had his vices, and that wasn’t something that He should be judged upon, consuming drugs was his choice, and likewise don’t judge the living who do it too harshly too.

He had depression and maybe had some form of a bipolar disorder. He was famous and had money and had success but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t be depressed, those things are NOT exclusive. Fans should stop posting videos and pics of him laughing and smiling and asking “does this look like a depressed man?” Or “does he look bipolar?” It is really damaging to mental health discussions and trying to remove the taboo.

And please if you’ve ever been a true fan or want his soul to rest in peace then stop paying attention to these media channels and idiots like Kangana, they’ve only sought their own benefits. Media wanted their TRP’s in a time when they didn’t want to question the bad handling of COVID and migrant labourers suffering and Kangana just wanted her vendettas against Bollywood to be fulfilled.

Very well said. Agree with each and every word you have posted👍🏼

SSR had no one when he needed people most around. All of them escaped including his sister before death.

that's because in general there is so much ignorance about mental health problem. So much superficiality and not knowledge about it. For this kudos to deepika to speak about it.

For everyone else involved in this case, it’s clearly NOT about SSR. They were misusing the cause to fulfill their own agendas. If people don’t get it even now, then I am afraid that they won’t ever will get it. :(

Completely agree. But I also feel that majority of these people fell prey to the tactics used by Kangana and the IT cell and became a mass of gullible creatures. They could not differentiate between justice for Sushant and the narrative of spreading hatred. That is where their fault, if it can be called that, lies.

The only time nepotism was discussed it was intertwined with misogyny such that poor actresses like Alia Bhatt had to bear the brunt of hate. And the way it manifested itself was worse than nepotism itself.

Poor Sushant. He didn't deserve any of this,.

I dont think it was ever about Sushant to begin with 😆

In the history of the mankind, it is the gullible majority which makes or breaks things. That’s why every agenda driven mission targets them, for both the good and for the bad.

Not for those trending daily garbage, definitely not. Just an excuse to settle political scores and act out the latent intolerance etched in their veins. The boycott gang in your words "just wants to watch the world burn." Led by the queen of toxicity Kangana herself.

It was all about spreading hatred against actresses/toxic reasoning/ and Kangana jumping into the fray as a BJP stooge just accelerated this process. Politics of personal vendetta. Trying to destroy the beauty of everything which doesn't match their ideology.

Sushant was a great soul. His intellect was something BJP can never dream of. By appropriating him as their pet cause, the BJP displayed its opportunism. Sonam pointed this out in the beginning, and people just bashed her on this forum. I remember being skeptical myself. But she was so right.

It is shameful the way gullible people are falling for their tactics and politics of hate. Sushant himself would have never encouraged this. He was a man of rare intellect and BJP is anti-intellectual to the core.

I just wish more people see through Kangana and BJP's opportunism before things get late. Ionically, he is being accused of taking drugs himself. Tarnishing the reputation of the deceased is something these stooges can easily manipulate. They only care about themselves.

Kangana is the prime example of this. She is toxic to the core, and a vile, loathsome creature. She is better suited for politics than acting.

Discuss.

I completely agree with you minty. Shushant was so likable and he ended up getting used by people for their own agenda. They are not his fans at all. People are not sensible enough to see through this.
