My thoughts on the Khamoshiyan Sequence

I am Ankita. It’s been a while since I made a forum post but RiAnsh were just irresistible.

Firstly, Rrahul, Vishal and Helly are doing great! I am enjoying all 3 character journeys. Secondly, I hope Rrahul gets well soon and the entire team stays healthy.

Now, coming to the Khamoshiyan sequence, I have a few thoughts on it.

1) The moment Vansh asks Riddhima for the dance, Sia comments that she doesn’t “trust” him about dancing. Writer hinting at something maybe. Perhaps a subtle nod to the game Vansh is playing. I still remember that before their first dance on the cruise, he said that he had one rule - he finishes every game he starts properly. I’m not going to discount his steel trap mind yet!

2) The entire song is like a silent confession of feelings on the part of Vansh. On the surface at least. Even the lyrics of Khamoshiyan, where the singer asks his lover to listen to his silences to understand his feelings, they fit so perfectly with the way Vansh is so active about his business and family but is so quiet about his feelings. And he can see that Riddhima hasn’t yet understood him and maybe this is his way to ask her to try to feel what he feels.

3) If this is genuine, the guy literally went down on his knees and bowed to her. A hell of an admission to make, all done silently. Riddhima might smile over it for now but she hasn’t understood the significance of this gesture. I am hoping that in the future episodes Riddhima will come to realise the enormity of his silent admission. Some feelings truly don’t need to be spelt out aloud.

4) On the other hand, this is the same guy who was earlier pondering that his dadi didn’t tell him how to propose. So he went from the mirror comedy to being a suave charmer to lure in his pretty wife. And let’s not forget that he knows that she is still a spy who hasn’t stopped spying. I smell trouble. 😆

5) Riddhima’s eyes are saying everything she doesn’t realise about herself. There is no hesitation, no discomfort.....in fact there is nothing but Vansh in her mind when he takes her in his arms. Her overactive mind stops working when he’s close. The adoration in her gaze is too evident. If Kabir and others on the sidelines can see it, Vansh is just inches apart from her face. His eagle eyes won’t miss the warmth with which she stares at him.
I see two outcomes from this. Vansh can either seduce his wife like a smart husband who knows his wife is a good soul trapped by evil people. Or he may be luring her into a trap to gain her trust and find the mastermind behind her.

Either way, Riddhima won’t stand a chance unless she wisens up about men in general.

6) Kabir seems on top of the plan until he catches the love in Ridhhima’s eyes for Vansh. That seems to destabilise him so much he risked breaking a glass in anger and then cutting the lights and leaving when he should be keeping his image as wedding planner. As much as he plans to weaken Vansh by using Riddhima, I don’t think he realises that Riddhima is also his very own weak spot.

Kabir weak point is riddhima somewhere want riddhima to be the mastermind

It would be great if Vansh is playing this game silently....as he says, uske jaal dikhayi nahin dete.

Riddhima doesn't look like she is playing a big game. But one can nevr be too sure. She is the one who can tip the game either way. So I hope she is later shown to be the queen and not the pawn.

Good post. I hope the makers maintain the essence of the show. As long as Vansh is show in initial days, he is the original master mind..even now... Who knows to play with ppl mind.

The way he realised’ Pyar can do things’ after making ishani understand abt sunny. It’s like he learnt something Of love and he will use it for his plans..

@bold - Yes! That scene is suspicious. Perhaps he realised that scaring or threatening her doesn’t work so will use “pyaar” formula on her. I find it interesting that he decided that doing things “pyaar se” gets the job done without the guilt of negative emotions. So this makes me think he may not have bad intentions when he lays his love trap....he may just be “Scorpionic” enough to manipulate Ridhhu for her own good and for the safety of his family. Let’s see.

He is definitely playing a double game-to catch the culprit and keep Ridhhu only for himself. He is not someone to be so lovey-dovey towards his wife when he already knows she is a spy and had his doubts on her since day 1. He has tried every means to find out the truth so he is left with no other option but to use love games to trap her though he might be genuinely falling for her in the process as we all find his actions all too real😂

Exactly.. Both men are playing her in their own ways. She really needs to start see through things😏

Yes He is clearly jealous that Ridhhu is starting to develop feelings for VR. He may not realize it now, but it is visible.... Deep inside He is very much disturbed but more about the fact that he is losing her rather than about his plan backfiring. This might be a hint that we will get a severely psychotic and obsessive Kabir for the future tracks... His psychotic part is already shown developing from the way he is on a killing spree.

Hey guys , just wanted to ask a question why did vansh marry Ridhima ?? I mean when she gave her resignation letter and she didn't even have any evidence or proof against him and she was ready to go. But my doubt here is my did he marry her , I can't digest the fact taht he married her to keep an eye on her 🤔. I mean voh toh aise bhi kar raha tha na voh 🤷

Also note when the scene changes to the flashback of their first meeting...the song goes like...Mera samay toh wahin pe hain thehra huya...

Perhaps to indicate that she had him at hello. He lost his heart to her the very first time he set his eyes on her.
