About the Maha movie, I'll decide after I see how Star plus has treated IPK in rewind. If it seems good to me than might go ahead and watch the movie too. @ renee.bee. Yes yes, remove the Mature content note. The abusive language thing was a mistake na, you haven't actually used any such words in your post. So the warning is not needed.

thank you to the Admins all lovely people

first time I saw this show, did not understand single word of what they said the beauty of show make me stick to screen

now analysis for khushi❤️

The first thing we see from Khushi are the details that tell us that this is an Indian girl from a traditional family which love her jiji so much

And when first shown Khushi WOW! her beauty, her eyes

And didn't from beginning show us that K is innocent girl who thinks she can fix everything and that brave girl does everything for her family? And turns them into action "I talk to him (jijaji) myself"

From the very first time she was shown ,also showing her relationship with her beloved god ,she asks whatever she wants from that her beloved god devi maiyaa

And that famous princess dialogue😆

And her beliefs about relationships :money isn't everything

What are the benefits having relationship with someone who has no heart no conscience

And then she went to what fate wanted her to go

Out of Khushi character analysis

first ep ended with one of the most beautiful passionate scenes that I have not seen in any show yet❤️

arnav looking at Khushi eyes to her mouth and then back into her eyes and the trembling of her lips

Khushi Kumari Gupta was and is my most fave character in IPKKND; I love Khushi because she is an altruistic person, her vivacity and strong character. She put the people she love most on top of her list, despite she herself got hurt in the process. Admired her strength and adversity in when facing those difficult and cruel times in IPKKND, which I could relate in real life. Khushi was the first TV Hindi drama female lead character that I fell in love with and still loved even after IPK ended more than 5 years ago. I doubt that I will love any other female TV character as Khushi.

Lastly, Sanaya Irani played Khushi extremely well and so convincingly that I can never think of any other actress as Khushi because Sanaya made the viewers fell in love with Khushi and loved her. She has made Khushi as an iconic character of the IPKKND franchise that is still irreplaceable and unforgettable, and which made the original IPKKND a major superhit show. Arnav-Khushi will always be remembered as the iconic and true Jodi of IPKKND.

Epi 2.

Scene 1

Arnav is looking at her eyes lips and eyes then pulled her closer to him by tightening his hold on her.

Khushi is almost trembling with fear and verge of crying. She realized she's holding on to Arnav and withdraws her hand and looks at Arnav's arms which are holding her. Arnav looks at her with disgust and puts her down literally throwing her on the side of the ramp.

Two men dragged her while she is scared and looking at Arnav and the dupatta thats fallen off her head.

My thoughts:

Khushi is trapped in a wrong place. Arnav threw her on the ramp. She could have been hurt. Those Men are dragging her like a criminal. She must be feeling violated on being dragged repeatedly. Her dupata which makes her feel protected and safe being taken off once and now lying on the ground. This is not acceptable even female criminals get women police not men handling them.

Scene 2

They locked her in a room and are interroguating her. She tried to tell them she's there by mistake and keeps pleading to let her go.

Arnav asks them to let her go and as soon as she runs Arnav pulls her by her arm and pushes her back. He keeps moving towards her and she keeps backing off in fear till her back is against a pillar. She tells Arnav that she's trying to explain that she doesn't know anything and requests to let her go. Arnav wants answers. Khushi is trying to explain that she needs to go home for a wedding and is there by mistake but Arnav asked her how much money did she get paid to spoil his show and taunts her about her status.

Khushi keeps pleading that the dowry papers are with her but Arnav beats her to it and accuses her of coming to make dowry money. Khushi flinches at his words and looks away but tells him she doesn't want to talk to him and tells him to get out of her way. Arnav threatens her to answer him or he has other ways to get the answers. Khushi replies that no matter which way he asks, her answers will remain the same. Arnav is relentless in questioning and accusing her of lying and being paid by his rivals while Khushi is refuting all his accusations with a no.

Arnav is shooting daggers at Khushi but Khushi again pleads Arnav to let her go as her family will be worried for her and her sister's marriage will break if she doesn't reach on time. Arnav replies that let it break and girls like you will trap another man. Khushi is visibly hurt and shocked at his words telling him that he's talking rubbish. Who is he and why is he after her. Khushi gives it back to him telling him that what if anyone says that about his family, what if his sister's wedding breaks, what if they talk like that about his sister. Does he have any answers. That he is crossing the limits with his misbehavior and to get out of her way and let her go.

She moves away but Arnav pulled her back and pulls her close to him. He's dangerously close and he's enraged and tells her he hasnt even started misbehaving yet and she wanted answers right. He rips apart the pearl string holding her blouse together. Khushi looks at him in disbelief hurt and fear. He pushes her around and is glaring at her while Khushi is sobbing. She realizes her back is open and to save her dignity she opens her plait and tosses her open long hair to cover her back. She turns around to look at Arnav still boring holes in her back and runs away from there

My thoughts :

A girl is mercilessly dragged like a criminal by men locked in a room unlawfully and even when she's free the Hero manhandles her, taunts her on her status then insinuates she's a characterless and a gold digger

Khushi comes across as naive innocent girl but courageous to give it back but the man again shows his masculinity and strength to overpower her and shut her up. Breaking a Dori of any girl is not acceptable no matter what his past was. But Khushi doesn't give up and has the presence of mind to cover her back and run off while Arnav standing there.

I was amazed at the strength and determination Khushi had to not fall apart in what seemed like nightmare terrifying any girl. Anything could have happened.

Khushi is so underrated in this scene. For me though Badtameezi toh maine Shuru bhi nahi ki is considered iconic but I think Khushi telling him about his sister and covering her back was symbolic of how Khushi can push him over the edge and make him lose his mind to make him act irrationally while she holds her ground defiantly.

Scene 3

Khushi returned home covering Herself with her dupatta holding the file close to her chest. Her whole demeanour is vulnerable sad and defeated. Her mother angrily comes to her and asks her and tells her not to make anymore scenes. Payal asks Khushi if she's alright and Khushi's worried for Payal.

Her mother is concerned that she was out till late night but blames her for the misfortune. Buaji is accusing her of deliberately going away with papers to break the marriage.

Her father tells her buaji that he'll talk to Khushi and asks her why did she take the papers. Khushi seeks permission of Payal and tells her father that she took the papers hoping the groom would convince his mom to not take dowry and she'd know if he's party to demanding the dowry. She landed in a wrong place and couldn't come on time and everything got messed up. The Great Buaji again hurls insult at her and tells her dowry is the right of the groom but Khushi says dowry isn't a right. Her mother tells her that she has the right to break her sister's marriage and poking in elders decisions. Khushi calls her Amma in an apologetic tone but she tells her not to call her Amma. Khushi is hurt by her words. Then Buaji taunts her if she was Payal's real sister would she do the same thing. That she's an outsider who snatching what belongs to Payal who is family. As if she's endured enough for the day her mother tells Khushi that she proved she isn't her daughter. Though her father tried to stop Buaji she adds more insult saying that if Garima didn't bring her orphaned niece into their family 10 yrs ago then Payal's marriage wouldnt be broken. She and Khushi's father leave the room. Khushi is heartbroken and guilty that she indeed isn't a real sister but she didn't do this deliberately and Payal comforts her and assures her there could be no one more true to her than Khushi. Her fiance knew about the dowry and hence he left her at the alter.

Khushi is in thoughts and then she goes out of the house and opens a sweet shop and opens a container of oil and lights up the match stick.

My thoughts

Khushi has to endure a lot of pain and alienation at the hands of her buaji and her mother. Though her father and Payal support her but they clearly are over powered by the other two women in the house who don't consider Khushi a family. Their words were cruel reminding Khushi that she's unwanted and an outsider. That because her parents are no more she has no right to feel loved or be a part of the family. It's a surprise how Khushi manages to hold her own with such venom being thrown at her.

If they want to Khushi is going to commit suicide then they shouldn't be showing precap of Arshi meeting at Dargah 🤣

Hats off to Sanaya for pulling off the most crucial scene when she was sick. Her expressions her dialogues her body language everything was on point. She did what the script demanded and fabulously at that in the whole epi. The reason I feel the need to do that is She was criticised for not getting Khushi till the Dargah scene.

As you said, Khushi stood her ground and tried to convey that she landed there by mistake. For people who are thinking she landed there on purpose, the answer is not enough and acceptable.

Everything went wrong then onwards until Arnav broke the dori of her blouse. The way Khushi covered her back was commendable. His own act stunned Arnav himself, giving a chance for Khushi to run away from there.

For a conservative family like Gutpas baraat leaving home abandoning the bride is a bad thing. So, Buaji and lashed out at Khushi so was Garima. Garima loves Khushi, no doubt, but, she was feeling ashamed that the girl who she brought in to this house became a reason for breaking the marriage of the girl of the house. For Shashi and Payal there are no such qualms. They loved Khushi as their own and they know what Khushi did was not wrong. It takes time for everyone to come to terms with the incident.

Though Khushi is a strong willed girl, she takes decisions in a hurry without thinking through the consequences and lands herself in trouble.

Cheers.....

Humra spaat (spot) .. hello hi bye bye!

-----------

Finally back to edit... the marriage is keeping me so busy these days.. I'm on IF all the time and still can't manage to read any updates or stories 🙈.

I don't like this episode much... pehle to Arnav and fir kam tha to Buaji and Garima. 😐 I think they were going to show Buaji as slightly negative character... I felt so in all the early episodes till the time Shyam's deceit comes out in the open. I think that is the first time Buaji takes Khushi's side. Whether it was just her guilt for arranging her marriage with the wrong person or CVs deciding to change her character slightly... not sure. But after that point, Buaji is firmly camp Khushi (albeit a few times like the elopement).

About Arnav, I really have no words. No matter what his history but that doesn't give him the right to do what he did. Although Savera84's post made me look into Arnav's mind too... I'm with Khushi in this episode.

Poor girl had to face a lot but her courage and resilience is remarkable. Also her spontaneity and problem solving skills are shown right here in the very second episode. The fact that she can go to any lengths for her family and loved ones... that she can think on her feet and come up with solutions... all this is seen throughout the show but it started here.

And we are going to be introduced to her way of uplifting mood whenever she is upset. 😉

You're right about the promo... they hardly left any suspense to it. 😆

And this episode has one more reference to her age - we know she was orphaned at 8 and Buaji says 10 saal pehle ghar laaye.. so that makes her current age 18. 😊

That's all for now. Let me go and watch the episode too... have to write my own post now. Not at all looking forward to write about Buaji and Amma but Payal and Babuji will give me some respite.

Love,

Stuti

K H U S H I : Ep. 2

How Khushi is as a person gradually comes to light in this episode. How, inspite of being so young and naive, she can hold her ground when faced with adversities like the guards, the formidable ASR, etc., how rather than being scared for her own security, what with being held hostage in an unknown place by unknown people with no way of communication (the lack of self-preservation is alarming though) she's more mindful of her sister's wedding, how painfully innocent and honest she is but how fate can be cruel to her , and above all, I loved how she said, "Daheej haq nhi hain" (I hope I'm recollecting the dialogue correctly). Inspite of being young and impulsive, she has her heart in the right place ♥ and knows what's morally right and wrong.

The way Arnav treated her with utter disrespect and pretty much assaulted her, and her response while trying to make him believe how helpless but honest she was being, was commendable.

The way Garima and Buaji treated and taunted her didn't sit well with me. Like, they've brought her up for 10yrs, of all people they should know that she is selfless and loves them to bits. And wouldn't jeopardize her sister's marriage for the heck of it. Even at such young age, she knows that the demand for dowry was insane. And would only lead to her sister's unhappiness in the future. It's understandable and unfortunate for the marriage to be called off on the day of wedding itself and there's the thing about "left at altar", "unlucky", "judgement by society in general" etc all the stigma involved for the family in future. But atleast she tried to do the right thing. And the taunts were uncalled for. Like, way to go! To hurt an orphan where it hurts the most, in the most underhanded fashion. 😒

As if she wasn't feeling terrible enough.

Felt like hugging the poor girl.

Atleast Payal understood. And Bauji.

Though I wish they spoke up a bit more in her support.

But then again, it's a desi show so all is well :p

P.S. - This episode broozed mah hart on poor Khushi's behalf. It did. 😔💔

Yes she said Dahej Haq Nahi hai.

Agree he kinda violated her by breaking her dori
