Hi! We indeed missed your take on Saturday.
Oh sorry love, but henceforth I will give both episodes together. So you guys have to wait. Don't mind my dear.
I did write a review on Dipwantiās post on Sundayās episode. Iāll probably share few here as well from there. I am happy to confess that we have mutual thoughts on each perspectives & characters. #VaNi Shaadi has been Satyugās biggest revelation, but itās not going to be a piece of cake. There is a lot of things to unfold, a lot of mysteries to be unveiled and VaNi will have a long journey to get on to with pinch of salt, pepper, and all the miserable things they have to endure so I am absolutely ready for that.
I know that Kalyug's story is going to be twisted, but I will not write off Satyug's story so easily, because it was definitely twisted then too. We never really got to know the entire story. We only got to know what Naageshwari saw. There is more to just her story.
I donāt mind if Veer is not being the old Veer. He is there, he is just not going to be expressively present this time with all of his emotions. He is scared, he cursed the fate for not loving Bani anymore, yet he is still madly in love with her because like you mentioned.. his soul is Akesh & itās not going anywhere, hurting her toh buht dur ki baat hai. He even taunted Bani how he had so much more to show, but she ruined it for him. Such mechanism of defense is what is ideal for him at the moment and he will make sure he has everything to show to her because he is wounded and devastated within. Bani has hurled his love for her many times. She simply doesnāt care and hates him and she has been very explicit with her intention. Veer did question her of why she hates him so much out of curiosity. Most of the time he had a doleful face being abused by her accusations & rejections. Itās been there from the start. He hated all this & you could see how his expressions would change in no time.
Veer is actually being the very same Veer because I have always felt that the sarphira Veer is also a facade for his family. The emotional guy that Veer is, only he knows and no one else does. His sense of humor is his defense mechanism not just against Bani, but his family as well. He is hurting within, and he wants to punish Bani, but Aakesh does not allow him to do so. He keeps on chanting that he will hurt her, damage her, destroy her, but when it really comes to do something, it just becomes hawa. Whereas with Bani, she means every bit of the hate she feels for Veer, because of not just his actions in this life, but also because she knows he is Aakesh. Veer just wants Bani to love him the way he loves her, or maybe the intensity with which Bani feels for Jai, he wants it for himself, and I guess that also hurts him.
( this is the additional part which I mentioned on Dipwantiās post)
Coming back to Bani.
I Love how fierce Bani is, questioning on everything without being scared or nervous(though she isnāt aware of Jay being alive & his evil motives) her state of mind isnāt being objectionable. When the right time comes in some form & Bani gets to know the real facts, we will witness her maturity of accepting her faults as well. You need such kind of bold female lead. On the other hand, Veer has his own legitimate reasons to hate her. We got to see him being so vulnerable at the pool side thinking of all the good times he had with Bani and how the fateful event changed every bit of his thoughts regarding the same girl. Him losing his brother was one thing, Bani confessing to plan to kill him, but instead killed his brother was more hurtful to him. He doesnāt know how to reciprocate to Bani. He canāt hurt her completely doesnāt matter how many times he chants to do so. (I know he was drowning Bani to which people didnāt like it, but the end of the day, he knows his limits and he wonāt cross it).
Bani's ferocity suits her only when it has a proper cause. What she did to the Cheels in the morning, that is gumption - like the lady of the house should have. But when she goes on a rant about her Cheelon se badla, that is when I lose it, like hell woman, wtf is your problem? What they did 10,000 years ago, you want to punish them now. Is there any head or tail to this, no. Arre, current life sambhalo na behen, jo bahut mushakkat se mili hai. Bani annoys the hell out of me at times.
Their dialogues and baraber ki tashan baazi was extraordinary praiseworthy. Matlab dard dena bhi hai aur lena bhi hai and they donāt care what they do to each other. This hatred and malice would turn the tables later for confrontation. The more closer they stay & fight, the better understanding they develop later.
I think the more they talk, the better. If they have to stick together, they will have to talk, and the more conversation, the more connection and more ground for their misunderstanding to dissolve.
The pool side argument was so hilarious. Typical miya biwi, ego, dominant, and ilzaam baazi was bang on! 𤣠Bani ka slight Haq on Veer gave me tiny hope ke she will tame down. Morni will sing āmorni bhaaga ma bole aadi Raat maā and Bani will hunt Veer. Kidar awara gardi ker raha hoga.

Devar- bhabi juggal bandi is quite entertaining and I think Bani will make sure shaitaani Cheels get proper spanking on their butts for a change everyday and then she will have no reasons to kill them. āŗļø
Exactly!
I love how this season isnāt so typical like others! Looking forward to more unusual and refreshing VaNi ki journey!
Same here!
