Erica never impressed with her acting skills and in my opinion she was the weakest link in terms of acting but Prerna is totally a memorable character and i love her for she quite merrily used another mans money and surname and played his wife to the world to have a luxurious life after being pushed to death by her lover and then chooses to have a happy ending with the same lover who pushed her to death and took her infant child away from her...truly memorable stuff!

Such a beautiful thread. And the pics are so so beautiful.erica has been beautiful as prerna. Simply beautiful. And I don't mean this just in looks, although she really is a beauty, but I Eman in the way she understood Prerna and got into her skin, especially when she was playing Anurag's prerna.

Erica really isn't a dramatic actress. She's limited in her abilities, there's no doubt there but when it comes to emoting subtly, she's a class apart. Some of her performances in the 2 years of kzk have been jaw dropping ly good. The anukom engagement episode for example. Or the anupre scene during the viraj track. I doubt there is an actress who could've done a finer job.

She loses her way a bit when prerna veers away from the mould that she's used to. And for that, the shoddy writing is as much to blame as Erica. She has been especially unconvincing in Anuneprekokyunmaara.

But other than, prerna, her gentle nature, her forgiveness, her tender heart, her simple dreams and above all, her mad, all encompassing, abandoned love for Anurag have been a pleasure to watch.

You will be remembered for a long time, Prerna Sharma as one half of a beautiful love story.

but i never denied one thing that is prerna is so pure soul ,the kindest person , most imp she is gods own child .this kind of purity is rare in this world .

Very beautifully written about Prerna. As Erica says Prerna's character has many layers to it with different shades.

Nice thread, l am happy to see a thread dedicated to Pre.👍🏼 I know only few are interested in Pre's character. I am glad many have appreciated her. At this point of time I am remembering @abhiya who very well understood Pre and becoz of her I was able to connect with Pre.

Pre's journey from "Prerna Sharma" to "Prerna Sharma Basu" was not easy for her. But her determination helped her reach the destination. Though a roller coaster ride, her journey along with her beloved Anurag was an interesting & a beautiful one too. Love AnuPre and their lovestory.❤️ Now, in a few days they will be having an happily ever after life with their Cutiepie with the help of Durga Maa's blessings. Feeling happy for them.🤗

Along with this, I am sad too. Prerna, as the name suggests she is supposed to be an inspiration, she was, here and there but not fully. CVs butchered Pre's character and neglected her part of story. That's why I am not sure whether this thread will be having positive responses. People commenting here may show their disappointments, it's understandable. But many hate her & may spread negativity which is not good for this thread. And moreover me being an avid fan of Eri, can't stand hatred towards her.😭

Beautiful post IFM. Your post reminded me some parts/posts of a thread I had made on Prerna sometime back.

From the start, Pre has been characterised as a dreamer, probably because she might have been a very lonely person at heart from her childhood. She never blamed anyone for her situations (except for the last track & that had a genuine reason) and is even fine to be alone, if that brings happiness to her loved ones. She never expects anyone to understand her. It is in such a situation that Anu becomes that person who understood her silence even when her whole family failed to understand her act. And he not only understood it; inspite of several setbacks & warnings from Pre herself, he didn't back off. He fought even with his life to save her. Anu was the first one to make her feel that she was important to him. Anu was the first person who at many points conveyed to her that his full attention is on her. Anu's love was an unexpected turn that happened in her life. It is the immense happiness he brought in her life that drew her towards him. And after Bajaj 1 track, she was convinced & very much content with the fact that she was, is & will be always important to Anu and how much ever a third party had tried to twist things to make her believe otherwise, she wouldn't have doubted him. The reason why Anu himself had to do the needful to push her away from him. And that's the very same reason she insisted to be back in Kolkata after 8yrs, because she wanted answer to the questions that aroused from her deep-rooted belief in Anu. Pre never needed someone as her SAHARA. Usko kisi ki SAATH chaahiye tha and Pre found that emotion fulfilled in Anu. Same is the case with Anu.

As RS commented in that same thread, 'It’s not because She sudharofied him or He has been the ultimate knight in shining armor for her... It’s because their Heart pulls/pulled them towards each other that they can't find that sukoon and happiness in anyone else.... and I love that abt AnuPre lovestory'.
