Answer is simple. He was forced by star plus to make a spin off because they wanted trps, they recommended Rhesha's name for the leads, he wanted to cast his favourite as a lead but due to star plus he had to cast Rhesha (I don't believe whatever he said that he wanted to work with shah blah blah) and to give his favourite an upper hand he kept on ruining mishbir. And now finally he has destroyed them and the show completely for his favourite.

They had sucha good opportunity. They could have written an incredibly amazing story with these amazing characters. But for his favourite he ruined everything. Look at the fanbase that mishbir has inspite of getting second hand treatment, 2 minute shaadi and minimal romance, this show could have been the next kundali bhagya but RS failed to utilise the amazing leads.

He just didn’t like the main leads because they were channel’s choice not his! So he sabotaged his own show.

If he wanted to give more importance to his favorite he should have casted other newcomers

I didn’t follow this show or it’s background story from the beginning, I started watching it from July 2019 and joined forum last month.

But I’ve heard from many forum members that SP asked RS to make a spin-off show of YRKKH and SP chose Shah and Rhea as leads.
So maybe RS never wanted to make a show about Mishti who wasn’t really blood related to Akshara (that’s important to Mr Shahi) and RS was clearly not interested in this show from the beginning.
But the writers and Shah-Rhea made the show magical and fans got hooked. Shahi wanted Kuhu to be main lead hence Kuhu was given undue importance in the story. Mishbir fans hated that and didn’t accept it which made RS madder.
Shahi also wanted to shove sibling story down our throats because for him it’s all about Yeh Rishtey (MishKu and Abinal) and not Yeh Rishta (Mishbir)

A significant amount of the fans of this show are Shaheer fans(including me). Why would fans want to see more of a new comer(who is not even the lead) than a veteran.

I started watching as a Shaheer fan but now I’m also a diehard Rhea fan. Both made Mishbir magical. SP chose Rhea and Shah, they were not RS ka choice, the newcomer was his favorite so he shoved that actor down everyone’s throats and tried to sabotage Mishbir. Now he’s succeeded in killing the show.

RS just killed Yeh Rishtey for no reason other than he hates the show and it’s leads. He could have asked for 3 months extension and SP could have moved it to 11 pm slot.
But NO, because YRHPK fans didn’t accept his favorite as center showpiece he destroyed the show by changing time slot and moving our best writer to Anupama.
If he wanted to shove sibling show down our throats then the show should not have had Abir Mishti romance in the first place. They could just have had 2 brothers and 2 sisters hold hands and sing “Ek hazaron mein Meri Behna/Mera Bhaiya hai”

The writers who created such enchanting characters Abir and Mishti did not get to complete their story and for that Mr Shahi, We Curse you to Hell!
