Not surprised at all. Its obvious they were trying to sink the show. 1st changing it to a competitive slot time 2nd putting the side characters above the lead. They probably decided to off air long time ago.

They sabotaged mishti and abir’s character to show the mahaan kuhu. Abir’s character went down the drain for me when he expected mishti to apologize to kuhu for something to do and ran away to blackmail her.

I wish rhea and shaheer all the best in their careers. They really lived the characters. Hoping to see them in another show soon.

You are saying as if the show was getting 2 trp.The trp is same from launch week till date.They were trying different tracks but failed to get ratings.S2 is flop from beginning.PTSD is the biggest failure.No one wanted a dark concept during pandemic.Tarak Mehta is getting good trp right from its comeback launch bec of fun element.

I truly believe this show had potential. It was great pre-COVID but it was a casualty of the lockdown. They lost their way when shooting resumed and resorted to antiquated, recessive storylines to make up for the lack of comfort level of the actors when it came to close contact. This was a love story, but with COVID 19 out there I feel the actors didn’t want to be close to each other the way the original storyline dictated. As far as the spin-off goes, I have to remind you of KumKum and Kundali Bhagyas. Kun was a spin-off of Kum, but only in the initial stages did they overlap. Now Kum has done a leap and the kids are 20 somethings, but Preeta and Shristi have not aged 20 years and Sarla does not even mention Pragya nor the other daughter who died.(even I can’t remember her name😂)

Just on a side note, Varsha doesn’t mention Kuhu’s father of late because the actor that played him recently committed suicide. I think they just didn’t want to replace him. Also as far as Yeh Rishta they’ve had family members just disappear with no warning yet we still watch. Only God knows where Naitik is. I just think sometimes a show, a group of actors clicks with the audience and then it just doesn’t. COVID changed the whole world, our show never had a chance. Besides Meenakshi was always too big for everyone else. She overpowered everything and everyone. It’s a sad goodbye, but watching these few months has been sadder.

I saw different media portal coming with article. Even yesterday Rhea was online for such a long time viewing everyone insta story after almost 2 month. Rest of d cast even r sad

But if u huv producer like RS nothing can be done 😡😡😡 I think star did suggest slot change it was him who denied it.
