Trends on twitter will not do anything really; Online audience is less than 2% of a show's audience.

Plus SP will not care; ask other shows' fans from Ishqbaaz to KHKT - SP will not care.

Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein launches on 5th October at the 8 pm slot. Next in the chopping board is YJHJK I guess. I think the makers have decided to end the show because of high VFX costs. The recents promo suggest that it is the ‘final fight’. So YJHJK is heading towards a logical conclusion (and again it was only meant for 100 episodes, so all this is additional). So SNS2 might take the 8:30 pm slot. So this show is safe for a while. But again a change of slot is still possible. They might want to give SNS2 the 9 pm slot and this show is clearly underperforming at this slot. So if YJHJK gets an extension and SNS2 is launching at 9pm, YRHPK will be moved to 11 pm or 6:30pm. Or else YJHJK might end and SNS2 and YRHPK are adjusted in the 8:30-9:30 band.

Looking at the current ratings, shouldn’t be surprised if a slot change occurs. About goodwill, even Ekta has goodwill. She gave a lot of “iconic” shows to StarPlus. So there is only so much than can help.
Without revenue, how can even the PH run the show? Only high TRPs can offset production costs and give them profits. No one would want to run loss making entities for long. When Ekta can end her obsession KZK because of low numbers. So can RS. So in short, the numbers need to pick up in 1-2 weeks.

Btw who has written baba track. the have gone off track since then. baba should not have been fully black he should have been grey character. and that track should have come after marriage where Abir would realize that both parents were at fault n meenu was not the only one at fault. idk why they got that track n then breakup track.

No matter what the slot is, TRP pressure will always be there. A shift to 11 pm would mean budget cuts because revenue would be much lower at 11 pm than 9 pm. So if the ratings aren’t that high, ad revenue will take a further hit. Again, the TV industry is also a business with the only intention of making money. So yeah, a shift to a late night slot is not really a great thing but definitely better than being axed. But again will the actors fit within the reduced budget? Can they maintain the production value? Ns historically speaking, the channel only relegates those shows to odd slots that it intends to axe in a few months time. So yeah it good in the short run but maybe no in the long run.

I like how we are calling it the chopping board coz it reminds me of CHOPPED on the food network😆; anyways, i digress.

I heard that EK is ending KZK 2 for many reasons. I do not want to mention them here because I do not want to talk about that show's logistics other than TRPs here.

So RS has 4 shows on air on SP at the moment; and we cannot compare KZK's problems to this show.

however, yes i agree they need to do something. IPL is starting on Saturday i hear; then KBC will start although I feel Mr B needs to do KBC on Zoom; plus BB14 on saturdays WKW; so they need to buck up.

I think they know that they are struggling so it baffles me when they show a track that NO ONE wants to see. What is happening?? Sabotage??

As I said no matter how many shows of RS are running on the channel and how much goodwill he has, no one wants to run a show without profits. Once upon a time even Gul had four shows running on the channel. Look at her now. So without TRPs, future of any show is bleak. This so called ‘online hyping’ and ‘trending’ are useless because majority of TV population are not talking about these shows on social media (and many don’t even use these SM platforms). That is why channel doesn’t pay heed to these twitter trends. Only BARC ratings matter for survival. Look at SNS brining 2.3 at 3 pm slot. No wonder channel is brining a second season. Channel only understands the language of TRP and unfortunately this show’s vocabulary in that language is very limited. Ratings need to pick up. High time it does.

SM is produced by shashi sumeet production. It's not a joint production. If it was dkp joint production show , dey would huv promoted it in their Instagram account.

I am not able to substantiate the claims of this article. So I don’t know how piece of information is. So anyway the point is the count of 4 shows is because SM was included.
