“Nice.. so you are staying too” he smiled almost genuinely

“I don’t like driving at night so I did”

“If you do something all day… you could come up with the same reason again tonight” he said gleefully

Our Man too is never never short of a word or two! This is mighty rude and condescending !!

He definitely tries too hard to catch her attention but you gotta give it to him! He has hers now , indelibly printed in her mind now.

He's decided to hike off his frustration , on many counts I should say. Jeans and a white shirt at 5 in the mrng with hiking shoes !!!!? Impeccable sartorial taste? Or lemme guess! Perhaps he never slept after the visual he got?!! 😃

His assumptions never end. He just keeps throwing them in her face without trying to validate any.

Mamaji's daughter is an au-pair (free mein the "parents of the twins" Viveka is supposedly caring for will be taking her some where atleast in economy class)

He has no idea they are 4 sisters and she is a tigress

Thanks!

That's one way to look at it... it just didn't strike me that way! But I like it even better. He's soooo mean and smug... it'll be so much fun to watch her take him down

And it strikes me just as I'm writing here, that how does it matter even if he believes she's an au pair?

Being it a researcher/professor? whatever, she's just as entitled to her emotions and respect as she'd be if she was a nanny or a driver! The problem basically is him issuing a character certificate to her on the basis of her bank balance 🤔

Thode zeroes yaha vaha hone se kya hoga!? She and her family are still waaaaay behind the Parashars in that sense!

Ma ko pata chal chuka hai, kisi dungeon me band karengi ab tumhe! 🤣

Such a sibling thing... coming up with the worst kind of dire predictions about parents' reactions when you goof up 😆

I'm not very sure about it.. but I'm assuming he's doing what he is because he firmly believes he's watching out for his cousin/ friend! And that is why I'd have to say, I'm starting to like him... just a bit!

He's firm in his opinion. He leaves no opportunity to frankly share it with her. He wants her attention towards something, he goes upfront and tells her!

He does NOT give her even an inch.... consistently driving home his point with one jab after another! Fierce..

It's just that he's prejudiced as hell!

Inder is always so eager and enthusiastic.

Unlike? 🤣

Viveka is savage ❤️

I'm wanting to see his one on one interaction with Naina! Just to judge if he's as interested in putting her down as he is when talking to Vee 😆

And he thought of her as a nymph? More on that, maybe? 😉

Kismet

“Ma ko tum sambhalo, you owe me like a gajillion, bajillion”Viveka chuckled

“I really didn’t want to go back home, YOU are forcing me soit’s the other way around” Naina had reclined her seat and she had her eyes shut

“Ma kehtin hain mazaak mein par sahih ai, you are entitled”Viveka laughed hard

“I LOVE HIM SO MUCH… if you went to bed with him YOU will fallin love too”

“Ughhhh grosss… NAINAAA” Viveka smacked her freeing up onehand

“Its not gross at all” Naina sighed

“Pagal ho tum…. Hes charming… but really…. You are extra”

“I love him Veev” Naina sat up with a grim look

“I am sorry”

“Kyon keh rahi ho aise?”

“Kya kahoon? Ma thankfully Papa ke baad laut rahin hain, Papane to baat bhi nahi ki mujhse aaj subah, he just said “galati kar dee betaaapne”

“I am sorry Veev… mera shona” Naina cooed and pulled hercheeks

“Tum mazaak mein le rahi ho, wahan sabko pata chal chuka haiBua aakar twins ko lekar gayin college se, mujhe alag sunayengi who”

“HOW can she? What did u do wrong?”

“I cooked up this whole elaborate plan” Viveka’s face paled

“Tum bhi ho na meri tarah reckless”

“But this is serious shit yaar”

“I know”

“Can we just go to Bua’s house? We can enjoy the five starhospitality for another day”

“Tum ekdum pagal ho, tumhe 5 star ke alawa kuch dikhta hai?”

“Haan… INDER”

“Ufff” Viveka did her fave sighing expression

“I even like all his friends”

“Achhi baat hai… he said he will talk to his Mommy…”

“Nice” Viveka was not paying attention

“Tumne nahi suna MOMMEEE… hes so cute, he still calls herMommy”

“He is making it sound like all is well” “We are not goingto be slaughtered back in Delhi. You are going to fly off to the sunset withInder”

“Sound matlab? WHO TO HAI”

“You don’t have any idea do you?” Viveka turned sideways tolook at Naina

Naina had no clue it seemed like

Viveka did not have a chip on her shoulder, she wasn’t angryor resentful of wealthy people

She greatly enjoyed her work and did not see herself doinganything else

She was not obsessedwith becoming wealthy, she was much more aware of the inequities around her,socio-economics was her life’s calling

Naina was oblivious, she was kind and genuine and caring, but external situations, the world, the country, or India’s unemployment rate,or rural poor, or the purchase price of farm output…

“Tum Inder ke liye keh rahi ho?” she asked dreamily

“Nahi” Viveka laughed shaking her head

“It was no use” “There was no way Naina would sit throughher lecture”

Viveka laughed again when she imagined herself teaching naina

Are u imagining Ma throwing me off the balcony?” Nainaquestioned

“Tumhe nahi MUJHE phekengi Ma” Viveka shuddered when Anubha’sface came to the fore

“I almost forgot how to have ---” Naina declared noisily

“How can anyone forget THAT?” Viveka sighed

“There are just SO many places in the human body Veev” nainaspoke all knowingly

“TMI… lalalalalalal”

“Did u like any of the guys that were there last night?”

“Not really” Viveka shrugged

“He told me they were not dating the other guys and girls… Ihear his cousin has a older brother”

“Jo lawyer hai?” Viveka asked

“Haan…” “Naam bhool gayi” Naina texted Inder

Viveka did not care, none of the men over there did anythingfor her

Not one had made an impact….

“Was he nice?” Naina asked

“Kaun?”

“The guy, you know the OTHER brother… the cousin?” Nainaasked as she exchanged love notes with Inder her lips in a pout, as she took aselfie

“Meh!” she shrugged

“Inder says he can be an ass sometimes”

“Good to know” Viveka nodded andhit her lane change signal watching for rear traffic

“You have never done such a thing ever before WHY? NOW?”Akash was beyond angry

“I am sorry Papa” Naina crouched on the couple’s bed, Vivekacrouched on the other end

“Bua ab SABK eke k ek karke bata chuki hongi”

“Bua is nice” Naina exclaimed

Akash was looking at her like are you that naïve?”

“naina… you know Bua… how she made a big deal when Karunawas working on that space project in first year?” Viveka interjected softly

“We are all family Papa” Naina insisted

She was naïve, and innocent and refused to tarnish her mindthinking of toxic things

Viveka wondered what it must be like to be Naina for a day

Her work and research had infused too much distrust andskepticism in her

“KAUN HAIN yeh log”

“I MET them at Bua’s Papa” Naina was hoping that would makeit all better

“Ma kehti hain ki who unke koi bahar ke friends hain… who fiberoptics waale?” Akash questioned

Both Viveka and Naina had no clue

Viveka never forgot anything, Naina never rememberedanything, and they both had not met Smrita or Raanav Parashar or Satyen

“KAUN hain yeh?” Akash was irritated

“He is GORGEOUS” Naina chose to say the wrong thing

“OPTICS Naina” Viveka warned

Akash looked at Viveka and his expression mellowed

What a mature, fine young girl… so strong and independent…WHAT had gotten into HER?

“You both are young, successful, Ma and I gave you all thefreedom your heart desires…. Jaipur mein jaakr kisi ke saath rehkar aayin aap?”to Akash it was incomprehensible

Anubha was learning to be a bit flexible…. She coached Akashprivately many times, that its OK for them to “see” men even if they don’t marrythem

Akash was totally not OK with such concessions

He still believed that his daughters should wait until theyfound “THE ONE”

Anubha realized such strict rules were no longer practicalin 2020 Delhi

She held the twins to very strict standards but privatelyalways told Viveka and Naina that maybe “not go ALL THE WAY” but dates, andkissing, was A OK

“I am sorry Papa… I went to get her… I had to stay over… shereally begged, I could have said no… which I very well should have… I DIDN’T”Viveka was apologetic

She cringed when she realized how much respect she had lostwith her Dad, it made her tearful

“Ab hum kisi ko kuch nahi keh paayenge, every one is alreadytalking about how your mother leaves you all and goes off to take care ofcompany business on overseas trip… ab yeh pata chalega to” Akash groaned

Naina dug up a “decent” picture of him and showed it to herDad

“KAUN hai yeh?” Akash just paced the bedroom

“His name is Inder Dhamija”

“PUNJABI hai?” Akash was more annoyed

“Hmm” naina smiled

“Lekin who to Parashar bolin?”

“OH YOU must be talking about his NOT THAT MUCH gorgeouscousin” Naina giggled and showed Raanav’s picture

“Uh-Oh… yeh… yeh aur who cousins hain?”

“Yes Papa”

“Yeh ladka to umm.. he is very … his mother was” Akash didnot share anything more about the vain family. He had no clue Viveka had alreadyexperienced three encounters with him

Viveka was on her phone, she really didn’t care

“He is SOOOO NICE too Papa”

“Bas is se dobara milne ki bat kismati na ho” he mutteredinaudibly returning the phone back carelessly to a drunk in love Naina

Naina is living her dream while Viveka is terrorized of the reception they're going to receive at home😆

But then leaving the twins home alone was not the best idea, maybe! Mathur couple's reaction is very genuine..

Telling your dad you lied to him to go stay with a guy because he's gorgeous??!!? WHAT is Naina smoking? Takes guts or maybe obliviousness 👏

What it must be like to be Naina for a day?

Akash has already had a run in with Raanav? And a not so favorable impression as well? Phew!

He's soooo nice too Papa.. is she talking of the 'not so gorgeous cousin' or Inder?

Viveka never forgot anything, Naina never remembered anything

He is gorgeous

Optics Naina

🤣❤️

Leaving two teenage girls at home alone was maybe not the wisest decision, but Viveka was stuck. Guess she could have chosen to leave Naina there and have Inder bring her back. The father found out anyway, and the mother will too.
