Considered guilty vs in jail is a huge difference right? That’s why there was a cry on shame on patriarchy. As all those examples mentioned by you were considered not jailed forget about going through hours of interrogation on a daily basis for months and home hounded by the garb of journalists

Mob can demand anything but she isn't jailed due to that

None of the men were jailed because they weren't doing illegal drug procuring.. proving abetment to suicide is difficult.. but being involved in drug dealings is definitely illegal.. Rhea's legal arrest is because she was found to be involved in illegal drug business.. not because she is a woman and ex GF of Sushant.. she was investigated for abetment which brought light to her drug dealings which got her arrested.. what does being a woman have to do with it? She committed a crime, she got arrested

She is The Rekha, she clearly never needed anyone to stand up for her. Made an identity for herself despite the naysayers. Now we have damsels in distress waiting to be rescued by somebody....anybody 🤪

So u mean to say men escape and women dont?

Then shouldnt the industry have been more vocal in seeking justice for Pratyusha, Sri and Jiah who were actual victims of patriarchy instead of standing up for a woman who is accused?

Wrong priorities I must say

They didn’t have an online mob and Republic/TimesNow running a narrative with elections. Neither was there a distraction needed over Covid/economy to motivate the IT cell and the anchors alike. Quite a few order of wrong priorities

Because people were not close n lot of news was hyped n the people were too fickle n innocent ok to believe anything.

Judgement was not an option for woman.

Rekha suffered nothing in comparison to the ones who are suffering now.Aj to jo involved nai hain unhe nai choda ja raha..forget about the ones who actually had something to do with the person.

Social media existed then too.. News channels ran stories and conspiracy theories then too.. Still no justice.. Why? there is some progress, some action now.. The difference is people asking for justice and keeping up the pressure.. Which was missing that time.

The same people u call an online mob.

And why single out Rhea, this mob is naming so many in their 'conspiracy theory' and Rhea is the only female there.. So many big ones r being named.

Why is Rhea brigade making it all about her? Not even her brother Or others who r also arrested.

And if u have noticed none of these big male stars r speaking a word.. They r letting the female actors make it all about feminism while hiding behind their skirts.. Daughters speaking on behalf of dads, actresses defending directors, costars, wife speaking for husband.. Heck even the deshbhakt facing the heat has put his wife in line of fire.

See where the real patriarchy lies?

Anupam and Subhash Ghai's slander on Rekha is sickening.

Let me try once more to explain

The real patriarchy is this

Jiah Khan died of suicide in 2013 after writing a letter blaming her boyfriend. He's still a free man today. Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide in 2020 without blaming anyone but his ex-girlfriend has been now arrested for smoking weed.
