Confirmed : NCB denies drug charge related to Sara and Rakul - Page 6

Poor Sara and Rakul. I knew something was wrong when there was no official clarification or denials from Sara or Rakul's teams (they knew the news was fake so did not give attention to rumour mongers most probably) so waited to see NCB's official list before commenting.

I refrain from commenting on any news wrt to BW drugs, SSR case these unless and until an official statement or interview is issued by concerned authorities. Stringent actions must be taken against all these fake news peddlers on TV and Social media. I hope after the agencies comes out with verdict everyone from BW who got called murderers (not talking about Rhea) and drug addicts by media sue the fake news peddlers and rumour mongers.

I think the celebs are at fault also for never taking any action. Some have been getting slandered for years now with fake news but never do anything about it. I think they're afraid that starting a fight with the media will result in even more negativity from them. They have so much power - they would write bad reviews for their films and spread all kinds of nastiness. There is no law and order. A court told Republic not to do a media trial but Arnab is still at it. There is no real way to control the vultures.

If 20 or 30 celebs all file separate defamation cases, we could finally get somewhere. But BW has never had any unity. It took them months to even put out a statement from the Producer's Union after Kangana trashed them again and again. And even then, they hid behind the union so their statement got no traction. Hardly anyone knows that they did anything.

Nope. Your link quotes a Times Now "story" or "report", my TOI link quotes the NCB directly

And Times Now has openly lied about this and cannot be trusted if it is being used as a source for an article Navika Kumar even now is calling it a "story" based on anonymous sources- which have till now never been proven in this case and have only been used for TRPs

Actually I'd wait for an official confirmation- because this could be a "story" based on "sources" again. Im sick of this style of partial fake news reporting that has gone on since June

Agree. They must be desperate to prove themselves right instead of coming out and apologizing to the people that they have harmed. It’s the same thing with their audience also. They have at first gone on an ugly rampage against all the irrelevant people of Bollywood blaming them for SSR’s death but when the family came out and registered an FIR against Rhea and categorically cleared the Bollywood from any blame, despite being left out in the cold caught blaming all the irrelevant people, they kept sticking to their original argument and continued defaming/hating the Bollywood just so that they can feel better about their original stance.
