Is your excitement over bollywood less?

do you feel as excited say before the pandemic, or even before in general.

Yup. Not liking movies releasing online and going to theatre is impossible.

I want online releases..too scared and a bit lazy to go to theaters

Tired of OTT. Waiting for the theater releases. Excitement hasn’t gone down even one bit. Once a move buff always a movie buff!

This is probably the longest gap I have ever had of not visiting a movie hall .I was a die hard movie buff and this phase has definitely diminished my interest in movies .

It feels like for the past few years my excitement for BW has gone down. This year I started watching a lot of Korean stuff on Netflix and I realized why: BW stopped innovating with their content

Its been a few years since my interest in BW has gone down. It probably started in 2017.

I don't like the current generation of actors, thank you. The new crop of debutants are completely charmless. Memorable music has become a rarity.

The cherry on top is the pandemic that has brought down the total amount of content being produced by BW

Nah no way. Only someone living under a rock or a fool wouldnt already know about mild stuff like marijuana usage (dont come at me okay? for me it is minor because I know lots of people who are not even necessarily rich and spoiled but domestic help and people from Himachal Pradesh, cancer patients and co workers who are pot users, even though I have never done it) and casting couch or whatever is being pushed as the "DARK SECRET OF BOLLYWOOD" because Arnab and Navika are bored and want TRPs.

I've seen it all and heard it all- and if someone thinks this only happens in Bollywood then clearly they are blind to the level of sleaze in corporate and politics.

Madhur Bhandarkar didnt just stop at making Heroine in his expose style films, you know- he made Corporate and Satta and Fashion too and we would do well to remember that. The ruling powers obviously want to target Bollywood because it captivates public attention and keeps them distracted from the real shit show going on with Covid and China and our finances.

I cant wait for Deepika, SRK, PC, Akki, Shahid, Aamir and RS's next films.
