I used to share an apartment with a bunch of rich Indian international students who were here for MBA in some random school where anyone can easily get in. Some of them didn't bother to study and flunked out while some finished school somehow and went back home. So it's safe to assume that they use all sorts of drugs and it's VERY common there, and there's a proven track record of drug abuse in Hollywood too. Why would Sara or Rakul or whoever else be an exception to that crowd? Birds of same feather flock together.

This entire drug angle is the biggest hogwash there ever was. This has turned into exposing bollywood's drug abuse instead of Rhea's involvement in Sushant's life!

I was part of IFFLA here and the Indian students in film school at USC and UCLA were all connected to Bollywood. Ever single one of them was arrogant, and they looked so down upon the homeless people around both universities.

As for the money, it’s common for the money to be “ours” rather than his/hers in a relationship, especially if they are living together. Are all house wives “stealing” money from their husbands? It’s common in India for the man of the house to earn more and be the breadwinner of the family. The mindset is ingrained but the narrative here seems changed. From what I know, one of his sisters lived in the city... and how hard it is to show up at his door?

Sushant made an investment in his sister’s name too, so does that mean she was also using him for his money? Aren’t there families who actually do that?

My concern is people are digressing from the main point here while the real issues are getting muffled up. The real issue was whether or not he committed suicide and if he did, why did he? It’s most definitely not because he smoker weed recreationally and did if? The arrest seems more like to give relief to people rather than seek justice.

From what I have seen in the news, she has been arrested for supplying to Sushant alone. Also, he had couriers some quantity to Rhea’s home to her brother when he was about spend some time there.

I don't know if u are deliberately ignoring my point.. SHE WAS INVOLVED IN PROCUREMENT OF DRUGS FOR HIM DESPITE KNOWING HIS MEDICATION. ALSO SHE AND HER BROTHER ARE INVOLVED IN THIS BUSINESS SINCE 2017 EVEN BEFORE THEY MET SUSH.

Anyway leave it, it's futile talking to someone who can't understand my point even after 2 long posts.

Hey, That’s really cool!! 😎 Yup, a firsthand interaction with them for 15-30 minutes can make anyone bang their heads against a wall, and I was living with them for over a year. I imagine these celebrities are from the same crowd cuz those girls sounded exactly like Alia when she talks in interviews. 😆 Major cringe. How or why would ANYONE fawn over that? ...... yikes.

Yup, they remind me of the K3G group of Rohan who make fun of Pooja for speaking Hindi. Too bad their heavily Indian accent was made fun of, so their arrogance would die down a lot of times. 🤣

In all this chaos, people are somehow forgetting, that Rhea has been arrested for something that’s illegal... it has always been illegal... it wasn’t made illegal just for her.

I absolutely condemn media trials. Media has behaved ridiculously and there should be consequences for media reporters who shove cameras and mics and come to conclusions without evidence. We as a country also need to definitely reflect how we treat a suspect or a guilty person. But not just because Rhea is a woman. EVEN if it was a guy in her place, he should be treated with humanity.

Having said that, I do not think there was an intention to crucify Rhea just because she's a woman. I don't think it's got to do with the gender at all. As a matter of fact, in this case, I think media pressure was necessary to an extent. And that's only because the Mumbai police (authorities) did a very shoddy job. I think everyone gave ENOUGH time and were almost ready to believe that sushant died by suicide due to depression. Media and public first raised fingers at the people like Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Rajeev Masand etc (all males) for the way they ousted SSR. It had NOTHING to do with gender.

Rhea ONLY came into picture when SSR's family filed a FIR. That's when we learnt about money laundering. ED got involved. There were suspicious details and investigation loopholes. Mumbai Police's behaviour was very suspicious. This raised scrutiny and that's why people probed for CBI. When CBI got involved, that's when they raided the water stone resort where rhea stayed with ssr and discovered there could be a drug angle. That's when NCB got involved.

I have been following this case very closely. And I do not think this is a deviation from the real issue. There are just more and more things getting revealed. Things are definitely not normal in this case and there’s a lot of smoke... I really wish the actual truth comes out and comes out soon. While I agree media has its limitations & flaws, the whole justice for Rhea narrative is also stupid and very hypocritical.

This is such an excellent post. And good point that the initial public scrutiny was on multiple males prior to the investigation into Rhea.

🤣 Yeah their snobbery always fell flat here. Seriously, I have nothing against Indian accent but since THEY love to look down on others, they get made fun of in return. Before someone here comes in to lecture people on that.
