It may be good for Rhea but it's not good for anyone else. At this rate, everyone's name is going to get dragged in. Even if they were *not* doing drugs, their coworkers will name them because they don't want to be the only ones dragged. Even if you end up proving yourself right at the end, it doesn't matter because meanwhile your name and reputation will get ruined during the questioning process.
For instance, now that Sara has been named and if she gets called in for questioning, she will dump on other actors at her level like Alia and Ananya. Whether they were involved or not is irrelevant. Everyone will use these tactics to make sure they are not the only ones blamed. All you have to say is "oh yeah I saw them smoking something at a party." You don't need to provide any proof.
I know. In the end many actors will get named and eventually it will all be meaningless, so will all be forgotten.
Rhea has suffered enough, let other actors suffer now. I don't care.
Let's start with self-confessed drug addict Kangana who used to force drugs on her boyfriends. (Not even weed, it was cocaine!)
I mean is this even a big secret that drugs are used by Bollywood celebrities. The narcotics agency would definitely have known about it, but they probably had no grounds to investigate. This case has given them a foot in the door, and now they can go after any actor they want.
Which is why my respect for actors like Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha, Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee, etc. is so high.... imagine speaking up against the establishment knowing you will be targeted with all their machinery. You must have been really clean and have nothing to hide to be able to do that.
