well her character was justified to make Ani's character look more realistic, I mean Ani married Bon not out of love interest but in majburi. So it's okay for him tO have a love interest. But makers could have made Mini a beautiful character, a sweet friendship. She could have really been an angel and giving in nature, like a mature person is( it would have been most loved and tragic character).
