Naageshwari is Sarvashresth Adi Naagin who does not need protection. I mean even Veer once told Jai, why are you going all macho, when Bani actually needs no protection. Hriday always wanted to keep Naageshwari away from Aakesh. Like he knew that there is some connection between both which he did not want to establish. And he disappeared for a few moments when Aakesh met Naageshwari, like it was deliberate. He was the one who convinced Naageshwari to allow the cheels inside the temple. Even for once, Naageshwari may have stopped, but Hriday just did not. It's like Hriday did not want Naageshwari's mind to think on its own or see on its own. He only wanted her to see and think what he showed her and thought. And Aakesh, he never explained his actions, and never tried to either. Infact, before he would get a chance, he was killed.

The same thing has repeated in the present too. Bani was so consumed by rage against cheels in general that she did not use her mind once. She believed what she was shown, she thought what she was told to think, basis Jai's words about the Singhanias. And Veer, like Aakesh never justified his actions, never clarified his position.

I just love this dichotomy between Jay and Veer. Veer is a little crazy but he recognizes Bani as the strong, independent woman that she is and is more attracted to her for it. Jay just wants to see her as this beautiful little porcelain doll that needs to be protected. Personally i think it feels good to know that someone is looking out for you, trying to protect you but it can be over done. I would choose someone who let me be me fully for that reason alone, not even considering Jay's other motives etc.

I am so into this show right now. I have watched the first few episodes of Naagin every season but just have not been able to get into it because I felt like it eventually always became too Saas-bahu and I don't enjoy that. This season reminds me of Vampire Diaries (did not watch the whole show but very familiar with the story) and also Lucifer a little bit where your perception of "bad" is challenged and you are forced to ask what makes someone a bad guy.

Veer definitely needs to work on communicating though haha!! Work through his ego and such and talk to Bani like a partner/comrade - they almost had a proper conversation after their dance but then the lights went out.

In my head I imagine them getting stuck in the jungle running from trouble or something and finally get a chance to sit down and have an actual chat LOL!

Jai is cursed by the moon (maybe??), and Veer is not supposed to go in the light. What is the logic behind this? Infact, Balwant and Jai, past or present, never wanted Naageshwari/Bani and Aakesh/Veer to come together, why? Is there something that is predestined to happen, and they don't want to allow it.

I think this Two Moon thing, is pointing towards something like this. Maybe's Veer's death could free Jai from the moon curse, and with Veer not succumbing to light, the prophecy or destined purpose of Bani and Veer will remain unfulfilled. You know these are the situations when they should invite Bholenath to do the talking. Not during bidka ghoda type tandavs.

That's a cool theory about the cursed by the moon bit. I personally think he is cursed to only be able to transform to his Naag form in Bani's presence (because he betrayed her in his previous life). And the moonlight was not hurting him it was just causing him to transform which elicited his asthma?

I also believe that Jai and Balwant (in both lives) are working together - has to be some thing to do with Naagmani of course! Why was Jai outside Balwant's house in the last episode? I don't believe that he actually thought Bani was going to be there. And I would not be surprised if he is involved in the human trafficking part of Balwant's business too (just a hunch idk).

This season has so much potential I just hope they don't ruin it by making it a saas bahu show PLEASEE! And I am enjoying the bad boy with the heart of gold Veer too much, I would hate it if he died and there was another Veer or twin who was a nice guy. For one thing Sharad looks too good in Black!

I agree with you. Veer recognizes Bani's strengths and capabilities, although he assumes she is human. On the other hand, we have Jai, who always tries to be some white knight, which Bani does not need. But definitely manages to create a good boy image in Bani's mind compared to Veer's bad-boy persona. Bani from first sight assumed everything wrong about Veer and Jai just fuelled it further by standing up to Veer and fighting him.

Yes, I appreciate this season, because it hasn't taken the predictable route yet. And it has gone down a more supernatural route than the kitchen politics route, which I prefer to watch. It has got The Originals, TVD vibes from get going, and I like it that way. Although it isn't faring too well in terms of TRP unlike other seasons, but I think this upcoming twist will add the necessary drama and I am game for it.

Veer definitely sees Bani as a strong individual, but not as a partner. To view her as a partner, he has to see her as a Naagin first. Seeing her fight her own battles, and he still being crazy for her and being her partner, then only can they have conversations. And anyway, Veer does not look like the conversation kind of guy. He is just a sanki sarphira cheel. Talking and all isn't his style. But Bani has to work around that.

Well, could be a possibility. But they need to talk - like when Veer isn't flirting and Bani isn't fuming, that kind of a talk.

There is definitely some curse on Jai by the moon. Otherwise, this Two-moon theory wouldn't come in the first place. The cheel was supposed to be the moon, but now there are 2 moons. So there could be some curse involved. But let us see what happens.

Hey, I like Veer as he is. There does not need to be a twin in general. Veer can change later, with Bani by his side. I like it this way. But I don't think Veer gets killed, and neither does Jai. Let's see what kind of twist they are planning.
