At this point, if an agency has arrested Rhea for further interrogation, I see no point in bringing up gender card or patriarchy.

And in any case, I am strictly against consumption of drugs including weeds. So her arrest make sense to me.

Most middle class Indians are not much aware about drugs. It isn’t easily available like big metro cities. Upper and rich class really need to come out of their bubbles and see majority of India of what it is. This rose tinted causes that BW and pseudos take hardly matters to majority of population. Drug consumption and procurement is wrong. Kese bhi twist kar lo.

All of us are busy building our lives and careers.

Firstly, Rhea has been charged with procuring not just Marijuana, but other hard substances too. Secondly,people are making it sound as if marijuana consumption is common and so ok. But she’s been found to have procured kilograms of it along with her brother. Even if we’ve all smoked up, when one is talking about 5 or 6 kgs of it, drug peddling question arises which is a crime!

If she claims it was only for Sushant, then why was she procuring these drugs for him when he’s already under medication for serious conditions like bipolar disorder, depression etc. they are counterproductive. If he was an addict as she claims and even backs up by releasing personal videos, then why wasn’t she Putting him in rehab, seeking his family’s assistance in doing so ?

In view of all this, Her role is very suspect even looking at it purely from a drug angle and so her arent was warranted.

As far as feminism and patriarchy are concerned, she or her bolly friends have no right to talk about it. Casting couch, female objectification thru item numbers, crude songs, male centric content, blatant ageism .. all are an integral part of Bollywood. And if this were not enough, they all kept quiet when a self made woman’s office was demolished just coz she spoke up, without giving her time to even reply to the notice. That’s patriarchy & fascism rolled into one- targetting woman who spoke against the establishment.

ps: before people point out

1. The 2018 notice to Kangana doing rounds on Twitter is for a different property as clarified by her lawyer and pertains to an apartment building not just her flat.

2. The ‘roses are red’ rhyme was composed to generate awareness around menstrual hygiene and the stigma around menstruation due to patriarchy

3. Am not a fan of SSR ( saw only Dhoni ) or Kangana.

4. I don’t agree with everything Kangana says, but as a proponent of FoE, I will defend her right to say it.

This patriarchy angle to explain Rhea's defense is bs in my opinion. Rhea became scrutinized not because she's a woman but because she was one of the closest people around Sushant. Just like how Sooraj Pancholi was scrutinized in what happened with Jia Khan.
