Hello forum ppl, I had watched Surbhi as Anika in Ishqbaaaz and really admired her for her acting. Now coming to Naagin, I have not watched any of the previous seasons and was not aware of the Naagin Saga at all however I just thought to give a try for Surbhi as she is a known face..Caught all the episodes of season 5 and Surbhi seems to be the right choice for Naagin.
These kind of shows bound to have OTT scenes and tracks and I think Surbhi is giving the right amount of expressions without being OTT to the max. The subtle expressions with perfect fire and rage even when she is Naagin is commendable. Agree some tacky scenes are not required where she is asked to throw her dialogues onto the screens else she is the finest.
Was just surprised to see her being subtle when the script/direction seems shady. Especially in today's episode, few scenes made me think this way. I am not sure how many of you felt the same but she has that finese in her acting. So just thought to share my opinion on this open forum where everyone are allowed to have different opinions. And yeah Sharad is wonderful as Cheel and more radiant for the viewers but Surbhi is more subtle. If Sharad is leading from the front then Surbhi is the driving force behind. Perfect pair and something fresh to look forward.
This is just my opinion as a normal viewer who doesn't have any Naagin baggage 😀
