Some people are meant to be more than flesh and blood. They are meant to be reckoning in the form of a human being. This man was the most human of the humans and yet did something beyond the capability of most human beings. I've seen so many people romanticising his struggle and pain as something great, it's almost ableist. But some people are really more than flesh and blood, and they just have to rise to the occasion for their identity, community and self. What an incredibly strong soul. The worst part is he probably saw those vile, cruel comments about his body and weight when his suffering was at its peak. This is why we should never bodyshame. Never. Nobody knows what's going on. Its just not worth it.

Still not over this. This year has taken a lot. Rest in peace and power, Chadwick. 💛

I remember crushing over Chadwick while he was promoting Black Panther. This honestly was beyond shocking. I have teared up so many times just reading all the tributes out there to him. The Black Panther Twitter account posted a video that got to me. Then I ended up reading Michael B Jordan's tribute to him and man you can almost feel how much this has affected him and what a bond they had. His legacy will truly live on forever. This man wasn't just an amazing artist but he was equally if not not more a beautiful human being.
