Apparently, the makers are planning to shut the show in November, not because of Parth quitting the show, but because the numbers are low!

Ok Pallu.... I was saying based on that TT girl's post she made when this rumors were out.
Glad now they are talking about the real reason- "THE NUMBERS" which is above everything. If the numbers were good I am sure Anurag's replacement wasn't a very hard task. It's just that thanks to lack of story, repetitive scenes, same flashbacks thrown at us since Viraj track, below average acting especially by leads, under utilization of the group of great and good supporting cast in the show, offline dramebazi, all of it resulted in "BAD NUMBERS" and there doesn't seem to be any other way to revive or they don't see a point therefore, replacement of Anurag didn't make any sense and everyone agreed (if they did) to continue and end the show instead.
In a way characters who the show began with, may be grabbed eyes balls though short lived, began to get boringd and repetitive, had a fair share in ruining the show (more specifically post lockdown) get to see the final light too.
Only if CVs knew how interesting things could have been post 8 years leap with/without any AnuPre or PreRish happening. The idea was honestly good but thanks to dirt level writing supported by even bad acting (except Komolika) the show is where it is.
Only if the show had good numbers supported by story, it wouldn't have been too hard to find a new Anurag or Prerna. It's also possible if the numbers were good replacement/quitting ki baat tak samne nahi aati.
I wish Prerna was replaced long back with someone who understood the character and portrayed the emotions on screen, some audience would have definitely connected. How popular one is on SM platforms can only get you so far but to stay in the race for a long time you need "SKILLS".

Reports have suggested that makers were unhappy with dropping TRP ratings of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Parth Samthaan's apparent decision to quit the show gave them the necessary push

Post lockdown (many may disagree) the show has gone to the dogs. All sets of fans are better off with this show ending ASAP.
The lesson is for EK to learn, the story is the king, no fandom will rescue the TRP for such atrocious writing.

Nopes. There is only one truth. And that is, they dont know how to write a story 🤢If the story was better trps could be marginally better..but haan, if it was some other actress, I wouldn't despise kzk2 so much. Sad. I just hope this time..this time , this news is true. Bec when serials have to end , they r not given a time frame. They r just handed out the notice. One or max 2 weeks they give to wrap it up. This is still fishy to me.
I feel bad for aamna though. She had a wonderful comeback. I hope she is casted in some other serial of ekta. I will def watch her. N parth, he needs to buck up. The only reason his fans stood by him was that he will do some good work in future. Lastly thank you trp audience. The wait was too much lol

Totally agree. Story agar hoti to bhi shayad gandi acting cover up ho hati. Par post lockdown we are getting no story with ganda acting

I agree story or at least a basic growth in the plot could have yielded slightly better results. But what we are getting is no story topped up with faltoo acting. Doobega hi, in fact doob hi rha hai. CVs ke paas pehle bhi time tha, ho sakta hai ab bhi ho par shayad karna hi nahi hai. CVs humesha se hi clueless the but post lockdown to kuch bhi kar rhe hai.
Ek track pe settle hi nahi hone dete audience ko, every next episode has no connection with the previous one
Me too feel bad for Aamna. She is actually giving good performances even with badly written scenes.
With her and prelockdown Bajaj I have only realised writing and acting go hand in hand. When one falls the other should have the skills to balance. Aamna's scenes are not out of the world and nahi uske dialogues koi special hai. In fact she is sometimes made to do evil stuff but she has such a hold on her craft that she brings grace in her scenes even when she is doing evil stuff. Same was the case with pre lockdown Bajaj. These two also never had a great plot (post lockdown jitna bura nahi tha) but they make their scenes interesting by bringing the right feels and emotions with improvisations instead of just reciting the dialogues or a shouting competition. That's why I feel post lockdowb things got this worse not just because CVs were clueless of the plot but actors too gave it up. Sabne milke audience ko pagal banana shuru kiya to ye hua.
