He is famous. He created cartoon character 'the common man'. He also had column in some newspaper. There were two tv shows which were based on his cartoon(common man) characters.

And in Google search about Indian cartoonist also he is mentioned in most of the articles. Even I searched about that my answer doesn't come unique😆
