Till that episode shivani has written the show, and till that episode our show was less on negativity.. But once shrinita came, she started writing all this 2rs tracks like meenu blackmailing mishti, baba track, nish Mish n kuhu insecurity track.. The show became negative bcoz of her.. Bepannah I think she wrote after the leads got married n I know how the story went haywire n nobody liked it n then the show was shut.. That's why I want rs to hire a new writer.. i just feel whole leap was bought in forcibly. meenu had actually realised mishti cared for abir so much n then suddenly switched. Abir just giving in to her blackmailing was so not Abir, And he has been switching character from then. I always felt baba track would be where meenu would let go of her extreme dislike for mishti. hence baba track should have been brought later after marriage

True , we have missed out on a lot of sequences due to Covid. And this 9 PM time slot is truly a bane 😕

I feel for the writers. Anupama would have given good competition to KKB. They should have placed that show at 9pm. Didn't SP respond to someone saying it is based on user analysis and some statistics or whatever that customer service generated email was saying?

Anyways I will be really sad if this show has to end because of TRPs. It had such potential.

Even I wanted baba track to be brought after mishbir marriage. Than dey would huv explored lot of abir's emotions in dat but dey brought baba track in a rush. I still don't know d reason because dat time trp was also stable der was no need for it.

Tbh I always thought dey could bring all d rajvansh dynamics after mishbir marriage but dey rushed every thing before their marriage nly

yes, our show was always in top 10 since the beginning. It still has a lot of potential. I would be really happy if the show lasts another year. But I am not gonna worry about TRPs and enjoy till it lasts.

So you wanted Abir to let his brother know that he was an illegitimate child? That the mother he had been calling ma and who he literally worshipped coz well Meenu ka munna, was not his real mother BUT the woman he despised because who was she to them except a naukrani was his real mother? And the bhai he loved with all his heart was not his real bhai? Even if he had told Mish all this, what would it have achieved? So she would have stayed back and NishMish wouldn't have happened but what would have happened? How would she have explained the situation to her BM/BP? Oh wait Abir should have done that? So he should have played along with Meenu, then explained the situation to BP and also told Mishti the reality. And then what? Mishti would have waited until the time was right for him to tell Kunal?Or Kunal would have found out himself coz Meenu wouldn't have changed her mind.

Sometimes I really wonder what people here want from Abir. I get it that supporting the female lead makes it seem like we are all feminists and women should all support each other and lift each other up and all that BUT I am beginning to feel that Abir is being unfairly judged at all times on this forum.

It is getting rather tiresome trying to ask people to see things from his POV as well.

I am one of those who really enjoyed the separation.
I had lost interest in the show during the baba track. And it was already established how much mishbir loved and supported each other. Separation bought a lot of layers to their characters and performance.


the way Mish trusted him to not abandon her , the same way Abir trusted her to not hide baba’s truth for an ulterior motive. Meenu’s blackmail was the only way to separate them. i an so so glad this track was explored. Just did not like the Mish Nishant wedding track. Due to their wedding track, we got a shorter wedding for mishbir since there were already too many Shaadi functions in previous episodes.

Even during the baba track, there were a lot of sequences I really enjoyed. I liked the scenes Abir had with Kunal, nanu, Meenu. I liked the scene where he reminds nanu of the pact they made when he was a teenager and talked about his first love and how his nanko would deliver his love letters to her. I liked the birthday scene with MishBir; and the scene where he was so apologetic about calling his mother a monster. Those, IMO were good scenes and I tagged along with Abir's story.

What annoyed me the most during the Nishant track was that on ITV it was impossible for a girl and a guy to share a deep, platonic friendship. Why did Nishant eventually have to develop weird feelings for her and conspire to ensure that she married him> Why did he have to have a jealous streak?

I have childhood besties that are guys; one of them is my person for life and if I needed him to help me in the quest to get the love of my life back then I am sure he would help me. He would roll his eyes, lecture me on other fish in the deep blue sea, grumble, complain, hold it against me till eternity but he would help. He is the Alex to my Meredith(if you know, you know). So, it boggled the mind then that Nish could not remain the bestie he was and had to turn into a jealous lover.

P.S. I wonder why we did not get a shaadi like Kaira for MishBir. I was expecting a Kaira level ki shaadi though. I still remember the promos from back then and how amazing the Kaira vivaah promo was. I was surprised there was no "please come and be a part of the Mishti Abir shubh vivaah" promo.

So I heard about the issues with the top-of-a-bus wedding when RS did an interview with Raj Baddhan. I thought people would have liked the bus wedding because it stole all the limelight and because of the "jaise Kanha adhure bina Radha Rani; waise tumhare bina adhuri meri kahani" and the carrying in his arms and doing the 7 pheras. I also realised that people compared it to many other DKP weddings and were not happy. So did everyone expect a destination wedding for MishBir like BFF and his wife got?

S1 is very close to my heart for many reasons.

@bold: I knoww!! He deserves all the best actor awards (critics and popular)! And he ends up getting best jodis. And why? Obviously, it's his magic from his screen presence and amazing acting. When he doesn't win over the other nominations, I'm like who the hell is judging here?!!

He is so good. The director and writers that get to direct him and write for him must be so lucky to get someone who can actually play their character so well.

I feel like he must turn his CVs into his fans even if they were not his fans before working with him.
