Yes. It takes years to build up an understanding bond with a prtner. A lot of patience is needed. Of course, a normal relationship and marriage is different because in a relationship you can walk out when you feel you have had enough but in marriage you have no choice but to make it work and that just gives you more patience to deal with things that come your way. Sadly, these days people give up too easily and arent willing to give chances which results in separation/divorce. It makes me sad seeing the divorce rates go up every year. I am not saying divorce is a bad thing, in some cases I do support divorce when your self respect is at stake but these days people are getting divorce over the most ridiculous issues!

If you see our grandparents era, their love is soooo strong! To an extent, our parents era too. That was at a time when you loved someone, you’d be married to them asap. It works for arranged marriage too. Their tolerance and patience level is so high. They still fight a lot, yet love each other immensely that they wouldn’t be able to live without each other. They are my role models ⭐️

Oh yes, even in my surroundings/family, I’ve seen people not willing to adjust or give a second chance to the relationship even if the partner asks for another chance. I don’t know if they are so entitled to themselves or if they’ve a superiority complex, but its my way or the highway. Its so upsetting. I’m not against divorce but if the relationship can be worked upon, do give it a try na :(
