Mayura for me came of as a character who wants to save the world/the typical bahu of every tv show. With her self sacrificing nature towards her family, her collage etc...
I found the whole insta love every man on earth has for her incredibly unrealistic. TBH no collage professor who wants to keep his job would openly flirt with student like that. It borders harassment.
The security guard and students who all openly flirt with her, do not get openly rejected by her. She does this thing where she speaks sweetly to them.../ if not sweetly tries to avoid them.
Again, in my understanding of relationships and being a woman myself. Most men will not make fools of themselves for you if you outright showed disinterest.
Sigh but then again it being a show I will say lets believe she does have this super power of attracting men like honey to bees.
What is Omkaar's reasoning for being obsessed with beauty? I feel the establishment of this could have been done better, they could have shown us as a kid he never got things other kids got so he had this complex to have the best things, the most beautiful, the most clean things. I felt his introduction sort of rushed and not explained properly. They could have shown us as a child things were taken away from him hence he is very protective of what is his.
Again these kinds of things would be really interesting to watch then unrealistic scenes of him stalking Mayura and hearing horror movie music when he is watching her from afar.
But again since the show started maybe this will be explained in more detail as the show progresses.
Mayura's sister annoyed me. Her entire arch annoyed me. A woman who studied law, was shown as someone regressively held back from being at her full potential because of her shadi obsessed family and constantly reminded she was not fair was such lol moment for me.
Showing us her new fiance did not immediately love mayura made me sigh in relief. But I could tell from the guy whose her fiance he looked like someone who was more interested in her salary than her. And someone money obsessed would have their priorities straight.
Megha could have been written better as a lawyer. She could have been a strong woman. Who cared not if she were married or not married. All she cared about was making the world a better place. People could taunt her about being dark and unmarried and she could have used logic and threw it back in her face.
So I am assuming in some way Omkaar, will mistakely marry Mayura's sister because there is no way he is a male lead in this show after all the horror music they play upon showing him.
Sad really wished they could have shown a good grey character falling in love instead it looks like he will just be a villain.
They got some fair looking guy to be the male lead. LOL is the message that all fair people are the ones with good pure hearts...
Sigh...
X_X still watching it is quiet interesting hoping for omkaar and mayura to marry they have chemistry
