I think the writers now understand that they could’ve done a lot more in the way of making Sultan the hero rather than Haroon. They must’ve seen everywhere on YouTube, Facebook, insta and this forum, that people were rooting for a story where Sultan and Nageen were somehow redeemed and reunited in better circumstances and were the end game.

The problem is I am still very obsessed and no one's gonna talk over here after a couple of days. So I have no idea what to do with all that energy. Maybe the makers got what they wanted...I became a deewani 😆

Make sure you have tissues when u watch it. I am sure the writers read a lot of the social media feedbacks. Most people on SM only wanted a happy ending for Sultan, they didn't care if it was with or without Nageen. Thats why Sultan was kinda redeemed before dying. But when you look at his expression of disbelief when he gets shot is so painful. Like Nageen took everything away from him, but he never expected her to take away his life.

Even when he is dying at the hospital and gives a statement saying he shot the gun himself, he could see Nageen there. His pained expression was so hurtful, I can't even tell you. It was kinda like the concept of "kaal" (doom and God of Death) in my religion. Nageen was his kaal, she destroyed him and appeared in front of him before he died. So that connection made me cry harder. I hope its okay I brought this point here, don't want to offend anyone 😳

It hurt even more bcoz they showed his romantic side in the first 15 minutes. Sultan could have been such a fab character, I wish they hadn't killed him...the writers would have had a chance to do a season 2 and fix everything honestly. Mainly give him the life he truly deserved.

A pathetic end to such a awesome and potent drama.

It was so rushed that I had no emotions left to feel for the ending. Teaser had made it pretty evident that Sultan would die which didn't make for any suspense. Nageen shooting Sultan part was awfully executed.

Overall a bad end to a wonderful start.

Still remember the first episode with that charismatic Sultan who was breathtaken by Nageen when he saw her for the first time. It promised a ride, which was pretty much ruined in last 4 episodes.

They messed up big time & missed on so many things- Sultan's daughter, his friend who was marrying Rida and what not. Can't believe Sultan didn't get to hold his daughter even for once, no matter how horrible his character was made to be. Looks like writer had retrograde amnesia in the middle of the show and she forgot the actual characterization of Sultan. Yes, Sultan was egoistic, arrogant but he was far from crazy. His treatment for Narmeen was not different from how mad he was with Nageen when he was slapped. His push to her was mistakenly done, even though utterly wrong. It was expected of Sultan to be re-obsessed with Nageen after leap considering the madness with which he was looking for her over the years in order to apologize and try his underhanded tactics to ruin the couple rapport but to turn him into a complete sociopath has to be new level of character butchering.

No offence with Abbas, but Nageen-Haroon looked forced in last few episodes and the damn montage doesn't make any sense unless it was just to catch audience's attention. If Hareen were endgame, Haroon should have been in the montage so that audience knew what was coming. Sticking to that montage of Suleen was pathetic attempt to keep audience lured into watching the show.

The only good part in today's episode- Sultan looked handsome in his wedding attire and so did Nageen in hers. But I just couldn't feel anything, maybe because I had anticipated the ending much earlier.

Overall disappointed but glad I got to see Danish in such a role which didn't get proper justice. It was good to see this pair again after Haara dil. Hope they work together again in a better script with characters who are treated well and not like this.

I am not a crier while watching shows but this episode made me bawl. Ugh. Seeing the romantic Sultan knowing the ending cannot be good was hurtful as was the dying part. I am atleast glad to the writers that they didn't let him die as the full on villain they have been portraying him in the last few episodes. Once more have to praise Danish's acting skills, it is not easy to make fans root for a grey shaded character like Sultan but he achieved this in a remarkable way.

I can understand what ur feeling...I would have seen the finale but ishquia damaged me a lot. I cant handle anymore heartbreaks , I just dont want to. It pains to be invested so much in a character and they end it like this . Never watch ishquia trust me 😆

Coming to sultan , the guy was the superstar of deewangi. I will remember him as one of the best. The writers also knew he will walk away with the audience sympathy hence turned him crazy crackpot by the end . But deewangi ,I will always remember sultan in the first 15 epis..how he took revenge from nageen.how his life turned upside down after marrying narmeen and he lost everything. The last chance he had , to a positive lfr was his daughter but his aunt was also right in her place. She couldn't be handed over to sultan.

No words for nageen ,I always hated her. There was nothing likeable or special about her character , bhagwan jaane what made these 2 men fall for her so hard . Both sultan and nageen never deserved each other . Writer ka kya bigad jaata if they gave sultan a redemption , show him.happy with his daughter and some other girl , n their past creating some problems in their life but both getting over it and walking their own ways. Ye sab ke sab writers sadist hai . Ishquia ka isse bhi bakwas tha.

I was very depressed with ishquia so I started watching this series on Amazon..the mentalist. N they gave such a beautiful end to the lead couple , which happened after 7 seasons but still..what a journey they showed. I was going through the old interviews and the director commented on how imp it is for a series to have a happy ending ,I so loved it . To honour the audience who stood by it and with it. 👏

Anyways, find a good series. Trust me , these shows put u in depression of another level.

I liked the last episode and I think it was kind of perfect given what they could do with what had happened in the drama to this point.

Sultan was never going to live happily ever after with Nageen no matter how much he wanted it, so I thought it was a nice touch that after all the manipulation/planning he did for himself to win her (both times), he ended it all on a very selfless gesture where he thought of her and her happiness only.

@charu, your welcome girl! I am sorry I can't quote ur entire post but had to do it once so that you could get a notification lol. You should watch the first fifteen minutes, just till before the wedding. Trust me romantic Sultan is totally worth it. ❤️

Danish as Sultan owned the show. It was like Eminem gatecrashing Drake's concert...if Em arrives then you become the guest 😆

I get it that his aunt was right about Rameen but the man never got to hold his daughter even once. Narmeen brought the shame onto the family and what happened to her was an accident. If he really wanted to hurt her, he'd have whipped out his gun back then too.

Nageen took a bunch of wrong decisions. I still remember how rude she was to Haroon in the beginning. Haroon was no good either after the marriage. He became a total d-bag. So they kinda deserved each other.

@red: Thats why I wrote Sultan getting another girl in my version na. Because he deserved someone who respected and loved him...and a much better life. Made the guy relocate to L.A in that 😆

I am watching a bunch of shows on Prime. Just gonna finish The Office and then gonna start Seinfeld. Not depression but I've eaten more dinner than usual.

The montage shot was really...something. Coz they immediately cut to Sultan and Nageen's montage. Despite having more number of episodes as a build up I could never feel the love between Haroon-Nageen. Especially after the change in Haroon's attitude.

I noticed how Sultan's attire became lighter in colour after he got Nageen in his life...as if the light's bad and he wanted to change for the good 💔 I did feel the emotion from Sultan's end so it was damn painful for me.

Episode 1-35. Yes, because it keeps you on the edge plus Danish is a sight to behold in this show.

After that, watch it just to know what happens in the end. Watch them on your own risk. You kind of want to bang your head in a wall in those episodes.

Infact, I got my hands on this show last month only after watching Haara Dil and then binge watched all the episodes in a day. By then 34 episodes of this show had already aired. It kept me on edge to know what happens next.

I have watched beginning after leap episodes 3 times by now because there was the thrill with what Sultan would do next.
