Yeah rishabh even said in that confrontation scene in the bedroom after realising sherlyn is behind his kidnapping that he has never touched her. So that itself in a way hints that the pregnancy revelation is coming soon, and rishabh will know the baby is not his.

But he doesn't remember what exactly had happened that night when Sherlyn trapped him into the marriage. He thinks that nothing had happened but she may convince him the opposite. There's possibility that for some time he can believe that it could be his baby.

I agree with you. Everything karan does against preeta is because that is who he is as a person and that is how he chose to act upon his mistrust for preeta, with impulsiveness, temper and ruthlessness.

Whilst on the other hand, the lack of rishabh doing anything besides trusting preeta isn't because that's who he is, but simply just for plot convenience, because if rishabh acted upon his trust for preeta and constantly helped her actively, writers would not be able to stretch the tracks whatsoever. They will only show rishabh actively doing something to help preeta when writers want to move the story along. Until then they will only show rishabh trusting and supporting preeta, but not doing anything to get her out of her misery.

So that is the key difference between rishabh never doing anything to help preeta, and karan and other characters acting against preeta. Rishabh's inactivity to help preeta is only so tracks are stretched, whilst everything characters like karan do against preeta is actually what their characters are as people.

And I'm hoping, although I know it's pointless, that soon the sherlyn pregnancy revelation happens, rishabh denies in front of all that the child is his and finally show rishabh actively trying to help preeta get proof against sherlyn. He now needs to be shown doing something, because I'm hating how in a way they are reducing rishabh to kritika's level who does zilch, but with more dialogues than kritika.

Even if Karan doesn't listen to him. I agree Karan wouldn't listen to him anyways. That's Karan. Rishabh could take some steps to help Preeta and don't listen to Karan's shit about "Stay out of this... bla-bla-bla". Rishabh doesn't need Karan's permission to do things.

You say in some other post that Preeta shares stuff with Rishabh and he is close to her. I didn't notice her sharing stuff with Rishabh. They hardly ever talk to each other.

even i wanted him to call preeta atleast once after karan left her on the road. he disappointed me there. i guess he just didnt want to go behind his brother's back like he is taking advantage of the situation.

well thats the difference of perception. i feel they share something deeper than what meets the eye. but this is just my own perception.

That is why Karan is irredeemable and Rishabh is the hero and it's the writers who made him thoda sa imperfect

Difference in perception and that's good. You choose to see Rishab in a good light so you see his character from a creator's perspective and Karan's from the story's perspective. While I choose to see both from the story's perspective and in that way both of them are disappointing to me. But before Karan went crazy atleast he went out of his way to help preeta.

And someone else can choose to see Karan from the creator's perspective too and say it's the makers who made his character this way for drama

i think we should look at both characters plot wise.

what karan did is not redeemable as such. but rishabh has his own weaknesses. i truely think that rishabh didnt actively support preeta earlier because he didnt want to go behind his brother's back as it will look like he is taking advantage of the situation. he is well aware of his own feelings unlike other characters. i guess he wanted to be a better brother than a friend.

Plot wise every character has his own reasons and intentions only for one reason to stretch the story as much as possible. I think that plot wise they're all in the hands of the writers. And we should blame writers then.

If he could help or just console Preeta as a friend it doesn't mean he would take advantage. It doesn't mean he should take some romantic steps. Of course, Rishabh is not that type of character who can ditch his own brother and take advantage of the situation. Rishabh is a good man.

I just think that he could help her out of friendship. He says it himself that he is always on the side of the truth. That time Arora family was on the side of truth. Unfortunately, they were all alone😒
