I think there's a lot more to Jai's character. Jai being the typical Naagin lead has given him the upper hand. He has a family , a great bond with his siblings and all. I don't think they will make him negative , he's like the son of the family. There might be misunderstandings but I don't see him being the negative ML.

Oh they are Betty & Archie from the show Riverdale. They have insane chemistry and have the best friends to lovers trope. But the show itself is horrible , I watched S1 and instantly started shipping them and the show went downhill from S2. I am just sticking around and waiting for them to date or become endgame.

Honestly I so want him to bring his old self back. I believe he's apt for Jai's role.
He gives me Mahir Sehgal vibes. I hope he's as good as Mahir and they don't bother to add negative shades to his character. Rest , he shares a sweet chemistry with Bani. I am liking them too.
