When these two started publicly interacting there was MASSIVE speculation they would reconcile. Sussanne seemed (to me) to fan the flames of speculation sometimes. He mostly kept silent but in one interview without much prompting said he wasn’t in a relationship and wasn’t in love and *when asked directly* about Sussanne said, they were close friends and co-parents and that was it. Still repeatedly every now and again the media (maybe with a nudge from Su or her fam or begrudgingly cause i dont want to believe it HR’s PR) would issue a round of intense speculation. After multiple rounds of that, he did an instagram post which seemed to mostly confuse people (I’d be the last person to argue he is a great communicator 😆) where he called her his ex and his closest friend stressing the importance of their children which * again IMO * was meant to be a more forceful ‘stop speculating we are not getting romantic we are trying to be good parents’ statement that wasn’t nearly as clear or forceful as he intended - because Hrithik.

OKAY, flash forward pandemic 2020. POST Lock down. Hrithik and Askshay did some beach clanging thing (? for healthcare workers?) in front of their building which was recorded and Sussanne and kids were taped on the balcony of Hrithik’s place. And then that video started circulating on twitter and instagram with the usual breathless speculation “Hrithik and Sussanne are living together, they must be getting back together!” I have seen multiple paparazzi pics of her on his balcony since then.

flipflOp, I respect you a great deal and if you truly believe the media wasn’t going to do another round of breathless gossipy stories after finding out H and S were living together, I will believe you - but I have no doubt - zero -they would have (even without someone paying them). Why does the speculation bother him? His haters claim that media speculation is his PR creating publicity by using his personal life. It’s not good for his fans to feel jerked around by the ‘will they, wont they’ (you need only read twitter to see many already do) for one thing. Having Sussanne clearly not hate definitely helped him in certain areas which I don’t think I need to mention further🤪, but having a reputation as someone still alternating between unable to get over an ex and unable to decide to trust/recommit to that ex definitely doesn’t. But seriously who does he really focus on in his posts ‘about Sussanne‘? His children. It is normal for kids to want their parents to be together - even when they ‘know’ they aren’t and ‘know’ they won’t be. His kids aren’t babies. (At least) one has an instagram account. They see social media. They hear the speculation and maybe they are impacted by it. If you can give Hrithik the benefit of the doubt that he really does care about his children and is trying to do what’s best for them - then trying to co-parent by cohabitating during a scary pandemic without simultaneously raising his kids hopes for a reconciliation he knows isn’t happening would be really important, right? Maybe it would be best for his kids if the media didn’t speculate on a reconciliation and he tries to make it stop. Or maybe the posts aren’t for you and me, they are for his kids and family /friends primarily so they know the truth and aren’t confused about the nature of the relationship. And of course if nothing else I’m glad he seems to have figured out that letting people speculate wildly about something important you know isn’t true is not the best approach to life in Bollywood.

Are Hrithik and Suzanne ever going to date other people? It would be so hard if you're still hovering around your ex all the time. No issues if they want to be alone forever but they still have half their lives left to live. They aren't thaaat old yet.

Didn't someone say a few years back that Suzy is to HR and his gfs what Gwyneth is to Chris Martin and his gfs.

I don't know their history but didn't Gwen already remarry? Chris also has a girlfriend.

Hrithik and Suzanne are just hovering around each other since they separated 7 years ago. That's a really long time to not move on. Or maybe they are secretly dating others.

Honestly I think HR might have quietly hooked up with one or two people here or there but I think he's majorly gun shy after all the public tamasha over his personal life in the past few years. I know I would be if I were him.

To my mind it speaks well of both of them that they are so civilised about it. Gwen and Martin were weird, GP even called Martin her brother (!!) last year after she got remarried to someone else. I think HR and Suzanne are not there yet because they seem pretty codependent and like there is still unresolved stuff. I do think may just end up together- not because of some endless love or whatever but I think HR really seems like he's done with drama and Suzanne is a known, trusted and tested factor in his life- might be easier that way for him.

Its not easy dating Hrithik. Aside from being incredibly good looking, you probably also inherit the family, and his own issues. I dont think him and Shweta shared a serious relationship because Shweta will most probably never get divorced. And I think she dropped him after the Kangana fiasco.

Sussanne and him just have history and it's easier for her to get on board with all that's happening. As cute as the "co-parenting" story is, the kids aren't really toddlers - Sussanne doesnt need to be around for every holiday, so I think its more than just co parenting.

Gwen is really weird. She and her husband live in different homes despite being married. Dakota seems to be made of sterner stuff to withstand Gwen

Wow, you and I looked at that post thanking Suzanne completely differently. I honestly saw it as a thank you, because she probably could have made the case for the kids to stay with her only throughout lockdown and gotten that. In fact, 2 friends of mine are literally going through legal negotiations with their exes over that same issue. Instead, she moved back in with him, sacrificing her space as a single woman and opening herself up to public scrutiny. The only ulterior motive I saw in the whole thing was to protect Sussanne from any kind of public scrutiny from his fans, because she did get some hate, especially after the divorce. And actually that had already started due to some instagram videos.
