Actually, if you look back in Ekta shows, her MLs are usually NOT douchebags, like Anurags (KZK, TERE LIYE), Sujal, Prem, Manav, Rishi (Sharad's previous show) and the list goes on, in fact her most iconic male leads were all very much positive and much more deep, thoughtful and human than the respective female leads. Angad is one of the bad boys who was extremely popular too.

So yes, Veer will not be a bad boy, I am pretty sure, his POV will not be evil, may be not mahanta ki muraat like Bani will be (I assume she will be mahaan female lead who is tolerating evil chachi and behens and also loves big anaconda snakes..lol) but Veer definitely is not a douchebag which is portrayed right now.

That was in the past man now look at the bhagyas, the heroes are horrible to the FLs. I mean just recently in Kundali Bhagya, the FL is dumped brutally after wedding night on the streets by ML and she is running after ML to save his family. In Kumkum Bhagya FL was was thrown out of house for some death or the other. In the other new Bhagya the ML dumps FL when she’s preggers and now they’re playing house with their long lost child. Things have changed.

Bani is yet to find herself and who she really is. Right now she's shown more soft and vulnerable, She's having these nightmares means her 25 birthday is approaching, and she'll get her Naagin power soon.

Oh, I actually never followed the bhagya shows, not in my threshold to take those shows, they looked absurd and stale from the beginning.

But wow, really? The kundali bhagya male lead was a nice man before (I assume), throwing the FL into the streets is a new low, too absurd and unreal to be believed in 2020, it worked in 2000s, but now such tracks remind of only Gopi bahu and nothing else.

And dumping a woman with a child, wow, another masterpiece from Ekta 😆

I really loved ekta's previous shows, especially Kis desh and Tere liye, I think Tere liye was probably the best love story she has ever produced, short lived but it was just so beautiful. I love Harshad, and i remember watching kis desh and thinking men like prem existed for real 🤔. Last but not the least, Sujal was the hottest Ekta male lead, burning everything around and giving two hoots to any saasumas around him, just true sass ☺️

It is weird that the woman who made male leads like Sujal, Anurag, Prem, Manav, Pratham is churning out regressive characters like throwing pregnant ladies out of lives and marrying and dumping, what is wrong with Ekta?

I just hope she does not ruin Sharad's character in this show, that is the only character which has me hooked to the show.

I never really watched her older shows besides the expected ones like KZK which my mom had running in t he background only maybe KTH with Sujal (*swoooon*)who i loved but I absolutely adore Harshad after BP ☺️

Trust me thats why I am telling you she has been following this formula for a while now, where the ML treats the FL so pathetically.

In Kundali Bhagya , Karan (ML) married Preeta (FL) by tricking her to exact some 'revenge' of his father being in a coma. He then tells her lets go to my house and instead dumps her in the middle of the night on the road while manhandling her, she still continues to wear his sindoor and mangalsutra while now hes about to get married to someone else. He challenges her to stop his wedding again as if she is the screwed up one god, now she's gonna trick him and get married to him to save him and his family from his new fiance 🤣

Not putting down Bhagyas or fans *disclaimer*, the shows do start off super well and the leads have amazzzinngg chemistry thats how i watched them too but then Ekta is a masochist who cannot see couples happy sooo thats that.

Just pray that does not happen here but I definitely think a trickery marriage will happen!

Arre EK ka sabse pehla Bhagya wala show, usme aajtak ML aur FL unite nahi ho paaye. Pata nahi kyun. Leap pe leap aata gaya. FL sirf ML ko bachati hai and ML always misunderstands the FL - and this has been going on loop even after their children are born and grown-up now.

Iske baad aata hai 2nd Bhagya, jahaan FL doormats ke naam pe sabse bada dhabba hai, infact standard doormats se bhi jyaada gaya guzra character and ML jo yahaan Aakesh tha, waha pura psycho hai. I mean misunderstand karne ka sirf loop chal raha hai aur kuch nahi. And the FL cannot do anything to prove herself right, except marrying him. This is the sickest show I have witnessed in EK land. ML se better uska bada bhai hai.

And finally comes 3rd Bhagya, where the ML and FL don't look like parents at all, especially the FL. They both look like siblings instead.

EK's standards are just deteriorating with time. In the past, she was still better.
