But you're right. I was afraid that they might try to confuse the audience. They have opted this trick from s3 with Ruhi confusion and then continued this in s4 with Nayantara confusion. So it isn't too far fetched. But I really hope this isn't the case. I don't see Mohit playing the cheel but let's just wait for the official confirmation.

Dekho behen, true or not, low key mujhko doubt tha that ye Mohit kahin cheel na nikle, aur Naag kahin Sharad na nikle. Kyunki Sharad ko phir bhi me naag ke role me tolerate karlu, lekin Dheeraj ke baad agar Mohit ko cheel banayenge to pata nahi kya hoga. Frankly, pairing Veer aur Bani ka hi banega, but audience ka popat banane ke liye, ye log confuse kar sakte hai.

But what is offputting is itne thakele Hriday ke liye, Veer ka itna strong reincarnation, aur itne powerful Aakesh ke liye, Jay ka reincarnation. Bhai hadh hai. Expect the unexpected in a reincarnation.
