Ch 3.
Few months passed since their marriage took place.. They both were really happy with each other. Vansh and Riddhima were really fond of each other and couldn't stay even a second,without each other. Though they still didnt confess their feelings,but the pain and respect connected their hearts.
Riddhima was coming back from her hospital and on the way she stopped at a market to buy some stuffs and gifts for Vansh..
Yes,it was her man's birthday and she wanted to make it special. She also bought some roses and jasmines to decorate the room,as she planned to confess her feelings today.
She reached home quickly and with the help of Sia,Daadi and Mrs D'Souza,finished decorating Vansh's balcony. She incorporated her likings as well to decorate the place. After decorating,she went to the kitchen to bake a cake for her man. She prepped all the ingredients and baked a pretty cake for him. She kept the cake inside the fridge and went to her room to freshen up.
After taking shower,she changed into the red dress she wore at her Mooh Dikhai. Vansh told her that night about how she looked pretty in that dress and would like to see her in that dress someday.. She blushed at her thoughts and remembered Vansh.
"Kanda kaccheya ne ji,
Preeta saccheyan ne,
Kothe chaunde ne ji,

She twirled around in happiness. Her heart swelled up in love for her husband. She promised herself that she will remove all his pain and will never leave his side..
She waited impatiently for his arrival.. She liked telling him about her day spent,she loved those moments when they get to spend some time alone. She remembered the day when she sent Angre and his wife for a small vacation and she got her husband for herself,the whole day. She had a small smile on her face,remembering that incident.
She wanted to confess what her heart holds for him.. She wanted to make him feel loved,she wanted to make him believe that she will never leave him,she will always be his rock and support...
"Tennu har gal dassange,

She wants to be with him during their happy and sad times,she wants to love him endless when he feels broken. She just wants to be a part of his soul,for eternity.
Honking of the car indicated Vansh's arrival. Her heart started to beat at a fast rate. She couldnt wait to see her love after a whole day..
She stood holding the rails of the balcony and gazed at the moon,which was shining so bright. She clasped her hands tightly to shoo away the nervousness whether Vansh will like the decor or not.
She heard the door knob opening and there was him,standing in his fine glory. His eyes scanned the whole room for her sight,when he found her gazing at the moon. The balcony also looked decorated as per his tastes. He tried to remember about any special ocassion.
Riddhima sensed his presence. She brought the cake infront of him and wished him Happy Birthday. She asked him with her eyes about the decoration,but he looked lost. Riddhima could sense that something was not okay and was disturbing him inside.
"Sab thik hai na,Vansh??? Aapko yeh sab accha laga??" Riddhima asked with hope in her eyes.
He came inside the balcony and went towards the flower decoration. She could feel that something was definitely wrong. Before she could ask him,she heard noises of breaking things. She went inside and saw which broke her heart into pieces.
He tore down all the flower decorations she made with love,broke the table into two and threw the cake in the floor,smashing it into smithreens.
"Vansh!! Please ruk jaiye!!" Riddhima went near him to stop destroying all these things,but she didnt know that she committed the gravest mistake,unknowingly,by confronting the injured lion.
His eyes were burning with anger and rage. Nothing could stop him tonight. He held her by her shoulders tightly and pushed her towards the wall. She felt scared for the first time in her life. This was not her Vansh. She couldn't bear his anger and rage.
"Vansh,please choriye mujhe!!! Dard horaha hai!!' Riddhima pleaded,with tears in her eyes as she could feel his fingers digging into her skin,causing her pain.
"How dare you???? Yeh sab karne ki himmat kaise hui tumhari??? Kis haq se kar rahi ho yeh sab?" Vansh raised his voice,making her scared all the more.
Riddhima was shocked when she heard him say, "kis haq se!!". She wiped her tears and tried to cup his face and apologise for her mistake,when he grabbed her wrists really tightly,breaking a few Red Chura bangles in the process...
"Vansh!!" She whimpered due to the tight hold.
He didnt care for the fact that he hurt her badly. Still she remained quiet,as she could see blood ooze out from the cut..
"Mujhe yeh sab pasand nahi hai!!! Yeh birthdays and all,toh bilkul nahi..." Vansh replied,seething in anger.
"Maine aisa kya galti kardia Vansh ki aapne yeh sab???" Riddhima asked,looking at the broken decorations.
"Yeh sab mujhe Ragini ki yaad dilati hai jab usne mujhe chhor diya thha,mere birthday ke din..." Vansh replied in anger.
Riddhima couldnt believe her ears. Still,she tried to calm Vansh down. She couldnt see her man like this. She saw that Vansh broke the gift she brought for him... A limited edition watch and a photo frame of their wedding photo.
She bent down and with trembling hands,picked the broken pieces of her efforts she made to surprise Vansh. In the process,she hurt herself badly. The glass shards cut her slender wrist.
He stood as his back faced her. His heart and inner conscience were having a turmoil. And this increased it even more. She couldn't believe that she would have to witness Vansh's anger,like this.
Her shoulders and hands pained a lot. They were injured and required immediate attention. Tears continuously fell from her eyes,as if,the sluice gates of a water dam were opened. She was really hurt.. Her heart broke into millions of pieces.
She couldn't tolerate this pain that evolved in her heart. She stood up and with teary eyes,she apologised to Vansh and left the room,running as fast as she could.
She crossed the main area when Angre saw his Bhabhi running outside the house. She took her car keys and zoomed out of the house. Angre ran behind her to stop,but he failed.
He understood what was the reason. He immediately went towards Vansh's room and saw the damage done over there. The floor was scattered with broken shards of glasses and flowers decorations.
Vansh stood in silence as his back faced Angre.
"You didnt do right,Sir. Bhabhi just wanted to make you happy as it was your birthday after your marriage!! Look what you did!!"
Angre turned him around to show him the damage. Vansh was shocked at what he did. He then noticed some blood stains in his hands and a piece of her chura was stuck in his coat's sleeve. He closed his eyes tightly,feeling guilty of the pain he caused her. He slumped down and watched the broken fragments of the gifts she got for him. His gaze fell on a photo frame which had their wedding photo,and also at the destroyed watch she got him as his gift.
There also lay a letter where she poured out all her feelings she harboured for him. As he read it,tears automatically found their way trickled down from his cheeks. He clutched that letter near his heart and screamed her name..
"Riddhimaaa!!!!"
Scene changes to Riddhima,in the hospital:
Her hair disheveled,her eyes became red after crying.. Dried blood stains covered her wrists.. She drove her car at a fast speed,as it was night. All the incidents flashed in her mind. She never expected this night to turn its tables like this. She was scared from inside. She never thought that Vansh will react like this.
She reached her hospital and went straight inside her cabin. She called one of her juniors and asked to do the first aid.. A nurse also helped her in doing so.
She was broken from inside. For the first time in her life,she was very hurt. She put in her efforts to bring a smile on her husband's face and what did she get in return!!! Her face wore a blank look and looked at nothing particular.
The nurse noticed Riddhima's phone. Angre was calling since half an hour. She gave the phone to Riddhima,while she prepared the painkiller injection for Riddhima.
She didnt want to answer the call but knowing his nature,she had to!! She smiled sadly and answered the phone.
"Bhabhi!!! Thank God,aapne phone toh answer kiya!! Kahaan ho aap?? Thik toh hai na??" He asked with concern.
"Main hospital aayi hu..meri night duty hai aaj!! Kal subha aaungi!!" She answered.
Just then,the sister injected her with the painkiller injection. She winced a bit due to the sharp needle piercing the skin. It was heard by Angre and Vansh.
"Rri..ddhi..ma!!! Kahaan ho tum!!! I am sorry meri jaan!!! Please wapas aajao!!! Tumhe kahi chot lagi hai??? Main aaraha hu tumhe lene!!!" Vansh spoke in one go,as he snatched the phone from Angre.
She closed her eyes and bit her lips,not letting the sobs to escape. She didnt have the energy to talk. She just disconnected the call and broke into tears.
"Main Toh.. Jiya.. Na Mara..,

Vansh could feel the irreparable damage he has done. He closed his eyes tightly.. Angre assured him that Riddhima is alright and is in the hospital for night duty.
Angre's phone beeped with Riddhima's message,saying that not to disturb her till morning as she is busy with some emergencies. He replied back and got the mess cleared by the servants.
He went near his boss and said, "Bhabhi thik hai!! Hospital mein hai,night duty kar rahi hai!!"
"Woh jhoot bolrahi hai,Angre.. Woh yeh sab apne dard ko chhupane keliye kar rahi hai!!! Itna toh main usse jangaya hu itne mahino mein.. Do one thing,Angre!! Kal meri saari meetings ko postpone karwao.. Main apni galti sudharna chahta hu.. Usse apna waqt dena chahta hu!!" Vansh replied.
"Roger that,Boss!!" Angre replied and went to do his work.
Vansh opened his coat and went to freshen up. After a few minutes,he came back and lied down on Riddhima's side of the bed,to feel her sweet fragrance. He took his phone and Riddhima's smiling face,which was his wallpaper. Her smile gave him strength. He carressed her picture and muttered a silent sorry to her.
"Main tumhe manake rahunga... SWEETHEART!!!" Vansh said to himself,as he smiled.
