As for bajajs purpose. It's simple. This is a reboot of a show in which Bajaj was a very important character. Hence he was brought in here because the makers of this show cannot think beyond Komolika and Bajaj. But he has been the most forgettable character who has filed to connect with the audience at all.

Thats his purpose in the show.!
