Gen Z Bollywood

Here are some of the Gen Z faces of Bollywood -- those born after 1995. What is your opinion on this generation?

Do you think they're a mixed bag or do you see a sharp decline in quality?

i don't think the big gen z star of bollywood has arrived yet. he/she is hopefully doing theatre right now and studying acting then in a few years time they'll come and wow us when their CRAFT (not just looks, dressing) is polished 🙏

Sara Ali Khan is born before 1995. I have seen the KWK episode of Sara and Saif where they both confessed Saif was 22/23 when Sara was born. Saif is 50 now, and Sara also had her birthday earlier in August. So Sara must be 27/28, i.e. 1992 or 1993 born. Saif got married to Amrita in 1991. Per Sara’s school graduation and the average age of students in those schools, Sara must be 1993 born, i.e. she just turned 27.

Alia is born in March 1993 and Sara is born in August 1993, so they both should be counted as the same generation. Sara didn’t jump into the Bolly bandwagon right after graduating from high school like Alia did, and hence she’s counted in a different generation. So please define generations of actresses by Year of Debut and not Year of Birth. Otherwise Alia too is Gen Z along with Sara, and Alia is obviously the most successful Gen Z actor.

Edit: As someone mentioned the demarcation between Gen Z and Millennials should be solely based on year of birth and not year of debut; then both Alia and Sara are millennials, not Gen Zs and should be excluded from this list and be compared with other millennial actresses such as Anushka, Parineeti, Sonakshi, Shraddha, Yami, and Kiara, and may be Deepika, Radhika Apte, and Sonam too.

Alia is not gen z.
she is a millenial.

Gen z is usually 1997 and up. It’s based on birth year, nothing else. If sara is 1993 born, than she is a millennial too.

1996 maybe, and 1995 ok that’s like the oldest. But typically 1997 and up is gen z.

Off topic, what’s the cutoff for Gen Z: 1995/1997 to 2005/2007 year of birth? What about millennials: 1985/1987 to 1995/1997 year of birth?

Millennials: 1980-1994

Gen Z: 1995-2010
