Why is Alia getting more hate than any other nepokid?

This is what I am trying to understand, yes all nepokids are getting hate, but Alia is getting way more. For example, jhanvi's movie came out, the trailer got more dislikes than likes and she got hate, but it wasn't anything like the treatment Alia is getting, and her movie gunjan saxena is getting quite a lot of love and appreciation, which means many people did not boycott it.

What has Alia done that she is getting a more severe grilling? Like any other nepokid she got an easier start in movies, she gets movies easier, but I don't see the same bashing for Ranbir, Varun, tiger, Ananya, etc

If it's about her association with kjo, well kjo gives all his dharma talents movies, he does the same for sid and he isn't even a nepokid

and if it's about her dad, then how is it alia's fault what her father says or does?

alia hasn't shown any sign of being horrible to ssr when he was alive, there is a video of her meeting him very warmly on the red carpet, that kwk question was just a game and nothing to be taken seriously

i am not an alia fan, so i am not saying all of this to unnecessarily defend her, I just don't understand what crime she has committed that everyone has turned against her like this, it just seems very extreme

You enumerated pretty much all the reasons why she's getting the extreme hate from people:

1. She's Mahesh Bhatt's - who's associated to Rhea, the one who's been accused of abetment by Sushant's family - daughter.

2. She's very close to KJo; lately, the first things that come to mind when one thinks about KJo are 'nepotism' and 'lobbying', so she, being KJo's laadli is inevitably gonna be at the receiving end.

3. "Kill Sushant" - the association of Sushant to death in any way is obviously now sensitive for many.

I'd personally also add the awards factor. It was ridiculous to see her win awards for Safeena over Rani in Mardaani 2, Sanya in Photograph and Priyanka in The Sky Is Pink when her performance was nothing great. So that indicated privilege - something that is irking people lately especially when there are so many rumours about people boycotting Sushant/outsiders in general in the industry.

But I agree that people aren't being very rational. It's not directly her fault and there is a part of me that feels bad for her, even though she's a part of that dirty Bollywood system.

Pretty sure that if a movie trailer of Rhea's releases now, it's easily gonna get 10M dislikes at a higher rate than the trailer of Sadak 2

but those things are not alia's fault, she cannot change who her dad is, what he has done or said is not linked to her. Also, there is no evidence that Mahesh bhatt had anything to do with ssr's death. Rhea is the one who is being accused

kjo gets all of his dharma talents movies, if alia is kjo's ladli then what about sid whose whole filmography is mostly filled with dharma movies, and there is also varun and now kiara and vicky are also getting several dharma movies.

when alia said she would kill sushant in that kwk game, she never thought that several years later ssr would die and it would come back to bite her, it was just a silly game and many other actors have been chosen to be killed in that game, alia was given ssr as an option and now she is not hearing the end of it

and when did bollywood awards become the parameter of fairness? over the years many actors/actresses have won because they are more popular actors rather than based on who was the better performance, that's why they have two separate categories for 'best popular actor' and 'critics choice' because they also want the popular actor to win. So again, how can we blame Alia for this when its something that has been happening for years.

@bold Yes, which is why I said that people aren't exactly being rational when it comes to Alia.

Regarding Mahesh Bhatt, he's automatically gonna get hate because of those intimate pics with Rhea. Plus he/his brother called Sushant schizophrenic without any evidence the day he died, saying that him "committing suicide" was inevitable.

Alia is far more visible than most of the other people you've mentioned. Until recently, she was being considered as the #1 actress in Bollywood, so that visibility is also playing against her big time. Idk if you'll agree but Alia isn't as brilliant as she's made out to be.

They're obviously not the parameter of fairness 😆 Yes, it has been happening for years, but people like Abhay Deol are opening up about that now, in the age of social media. The injustice/politics/money/power involved in those award shows that are promoted so much are being pointed out and a significant number of people are realising now I suppose. It's just unfortunate for Alia that she happens to be considered as a top actress in Bollywood while being associated to Mahesh and KJo at this point.

What is with the Alia sympathy, raising similar topics ever week....
