Wanted to write this from quite sometime but today just could’nt stop myself from doing so after the 2 amazing episodes giving a very close and vital insight in The RiAnsh Relationship!!
I personally feel the major turning point in RiAnsh relation was the face off and confrontation between Vansh and Riddhima, when Vansh had hurt an innocent!! That scene in his den and then the resignation scene.
Though in the den for few moments Riddhima was worried and was shocked to see a stranger and not Kabir but after getting a grip on herself the way she confronted Vansh was just superb!!
For those few moments it felt as if she had forgotten everything! Her so called mission … Kabir … her nervousness … fear … everything!
It was just Her and Vansh Raisinghania (VR) at that moment!!
Specially the Resignation scene it was just The Real Riddhima confronting The VR !
Riddhima … the Person … the Doctor …. the Human!! Giving him a much needed reality check ….showing him the mirror!!
Only after she moved out did she let out her feelings .. apologizing to Kabir for backing out etc.
That very Resignation scene I feel jolted the real VR … Riddhima’s fearless stand … her denial to his order … her walking out on him!
She was going .... He just couldn’t have let that happen! … And then The Forced Proposal!!
Vansh couldn’t let her go away from him …. His attraction … His doubts etc forced him to finally take the plunge!!
He refused to disclose anything to her … telling her … I’m not giving myself away …think what you want to think!
Yet making it clear to her he is not asking her … he has decided that she is going to be Mrs Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania!
The Engagement - Thanks @Wynn u too noticed the flower symbolism !
I wanted to add my version too on the clothes as well as flowers.
[Though I think the writer has mentioned regarding the orange dupatta thing that there is nothing that deep about clothes.]
But this is what I felt when I saw the episode.
It may be coincidence but they wore Grey and Black. Riddhima in shade of grey- off white like having more to her than it seems. Vansh ... dark .. black just as the world sees him!
The white flower in her head which she relates to dejection and loneliness which she felt at that moment! Yet Vansh’s favourite!!
And Vansh had red roses on his outfit (though I hated flowers on his outfit) but Riddhima likes colourful flowers , as she mentioned to him in the 1st Episode.
The Flower scene- She was lost in her world .. unaware … stumbled but Vansh stood there .. didn’t let her fall! Lets hope that it’s a symbolism for future that he will stand by her and not let her down when the truth unveils!!
He gave her flowers … she accepted them but the thorn hurt him!
Seeming like in future too the acceptance will happen but after enduring a lot of pain!
Her version for LOVE floored him!! Her intensity … her determination … her selflessness everything surfaced out in her words!!
He craves for that trust … that bond … that transparency!!
Mehendi - She burnt her right hand and the mehendi was applied in left hand ... even the engagement ring is worn in left hand ... becos it connects to heart!!
Marriage - He was surprised .. She was shocked! She was in a trance… He was calm! She was lost … He was in control! She was disillusioned … So he took the lead!!
Though we still don’t know his real intentions yet he was totally alert and maybe little aware of her state of mind.
He was angry about her absence … then welcoming her to hell yet the very next moment saving her from being hurt!
His mind alerts him ... but somewhere his heart commands!!
The Wedding Night - He can’t see her in pain!!
From the hand holding in cruise to the teardrop scene yesterday ! Situations differ but feelings…?
The wedding gifts …. Out of the world … not the normal …. Yet so thoughtful ….So true to his character!!
He is what he is … no pretensions … no mincing words … just direct talk!!
He is a cynic at times … lacks trust … craves for selflessness from his partner … demands utmost honesty and loyalty!!
Only 4 people are in his trusted list his Mom, Dadi, Siya and Angre (that dartboard scene)
He wants the same from Riddhima.. He knows she is hiding facts … and wants her to come out clean. Yet he is warning her time and again to not break his trust ever!!
I really hope its not too late before she realizes and doesn’t do something which will scar her relations!
Guns and Roses!! …Tohfa ho to aisa jaan hi le jaaye!! ...His gifts say the same!!... Everything is extreme!!
No mercy for betrayal be it him or her … Loyalty is the key!!
The way he confessed the same rule applies to him too … gave him away!
For a fraction of a second there was a slight tinge of softness in Riddhima’s expressions. She wasn’t expecting this!
Flowers , happiness maybe Love …. Honesty and Transparency to be maintained!
His way of portraying his emotions is very guarded and different!
She really needs to introspect before taking any drastic step which ruin her … break her… shatter her!!
Riddhima - is just believing what she has been told.. but as they say
There are three sides to a story ..my side .. your side .. and the Truth!!
It was wrong on Vansh’s part to force her … But she had a chance to go … But didn’t … It is her decision now … even if its for her Love …yet!!
And currently she is pretending everything is fine!
Vansh can clearly see through her acts but Dadi and Siya really like and value her!
Her Acts … Her side of Truth may really hurt them and this will be unacceptable for Vansh as for him Family means everything!!
I hope sense prevails … with an open mind …. she digs out the entire truth and then takes a stand for her life and her self respect!!
Vansh - Both episodes gave us a slight insight of The real VR!
His dialogues giving a clear idea what he wants from this relation and his wife!
He also voiced out his feelings (I feel they are genuine )
"Angre, ab woh meri patni hai. Uske saath woh karne ka sochna bhimat ….jo hum dusron ke saath karte hai jinn par humko shaq hota hai"
He has not got married to her just for the sake of knowing her truth! He has told his family , specially Ishani to respect her! And today he told Angre.
She is his wife … she demands that respect .. no matter the circumstances of marriage … their differences… their doubts etc … But he will not let anyone disrespect her!
How can he let his men spy on his wife … what message goes out … so disrespectful for the woman of his life!!
His character till now has always been such that he will never let that happen!
“Riddhima sach hain ya chalaawa” Only Vansh will find out!😳
There is something mysterious about Riddhima… yet he has always been attracted, intrigued by her.
"Maine shaadi uss se ki hai jisse main jaan na chahta hoon!"
He revealed his intentions that he will not leave it here … until he gets to know her true self!!
"Tum pasand ho, tumhe paana tha" Again his direct statement .
He kind off confessed that he would have never let her go!
He has observed her very closely since their 1st encounter … beach party … cruise … her bond with Siya and Dadi…. Her dispute with Aryan … her participation in family puja … plus all their encounters where each time she has managed to create an impact on him!!
Vansh is flawed character with lot of shades and he has married a woman who too has a lot hidden secrets … but her presence, her qualities have compelled him to not let her go away from him!!
He has got accustomed to having her around him … just for him!!
Hoping this journey will make them realize their truths… their feelings … and they will emerge out together …stronger!!!
