It is sick and I can’t believe they showed that a doctor would also stoop so low, but I guess they want Nageen to be able to get her revenge on Sultan and she couldn’t do that properly if she was pregnant or a mother. They have to break all ties so that once she finds out what he’s done, she is alone to come face to face in war with Sultan.
This has to be one of the worst written dramas I have ever watched. Aside from the constant dragging and prolonging the story unnecessarily, there was actually no proper character development of the leads. Danish basically carried the whole show on his shoulders, and I don’t think I’d have bothered watching it had it not been for the way he played Sultan. He completely owned that role, and he even made me feel sorry for Sultan. At one point I thought of him like the Julia Roberts character in My best friends wedding, she’s so underhand and wrong on every level trying to break up the couple but still the viewers can’t help rooting for her.😆
But this isn’t a romcom, and although sometimes Sultans antics in pursuing Nageen made me giggle in disbelief, he is still just a deeply troubled soul which will sadly remain stubborn, selfish and a very unlikable person till the end.
Yes it was a waste making Sultan completely evil, like you said, he had real potential in the story. But then why make Nageen suffer so much emotionally and (sometimes even physically) with Haroon and his mother? it made me think that Sultan might actually be a way out for Nageen when things got too bad for her.
But no, they had to keep making Sultan do more and more unforgivable things. Still feel sad at what could have been, but there’s no point now. Just like I can’t rewatch Anjaam (even though I love SRK), this drama sadly will also be on my once only list.
Dont they have time to write their dramas first and then start shooting? Then who made it such a huge mess! I'd have a better storyline for those many episodes! There were better ways to end the show. It could've honestly started with Sultan and Nageen's deewangi and then introduced Haroon and a second female to redeem Sultan.
I agree, Danish is alone the reason everyone has watched the show so far. Heck I sat through so much crap 🤣 At least one good thing that has come out of it is seeing his acting range. I think he's got success pretty late right? Like main lead roles. I cannot wait to watch him in more stuff in the future, I am a fan for life. He deserves better opportunities and scripts for sure, specially since he played such a flawed character and made him so likeable.
They could've shown Sultan helping Nageen get out of her in law's messy house and get independent...she then does want to get back together but he doesn't agree because he's moved on in life. But no, they really ruined shit up. Gosh i wanna cuss so bad, its taking hell lot of control!
I've seen Anjaam about 3 times and mainly coz I loved the songs but I know where you're coming from. I have seen certain episodes on Deewangi on loop but only the Sultan parts, like epi 28, 31, 34...thats how good Danish was.
