Why is Salman considered a bigger star than Aamir?

--Regarding 100 crore and 200 crore clubs, well Aamir's the one who created these benchmarks not Salman.

--Aamir has the neutral audience hooked to him plus he has a huge fanbase. That's like a double bonanza!

--Launde lapades prefer Slamn Khan, that's a known fact. But are they the only fanbase worth courting, no matter how vocal?

--Last decade Bhai plays only one role The Super Alpha Male. That’s it. He has become totally one-dimensional.

-- From 2008 to 2017 (save a few months when Chennai Express held the record), Aamir has always held the title of the all-time blockbuster.

Let’s look at it another way. This is the list of clubs that Aamir has created…

Rs 100 Crore Club: Ghajini (2008)

Rs 150 Crore Club: 3 Idiots (2009)

Rs 200 Crore Club: 3 Idiots (2009)

Rs 250 Crore Club: Dhoom 3 (2013)

Rs 300 Crore Club: PK (2014)

So then, why isn’t Aamir a bigger star than Salman? He’s the king of the box office. He’s the king of acting. He’s the king of diversity. What more do you want in any film star?

Not releasing movies at regular intervals hurts. Especially when you come with a Thugs Of Hindustan. That’s the first thing someone will notice till the next one (whenever that comes) 😆

I think Amir gave an answer to this in his KWK epi where he said that the rest of them have to work hard for their films to work but Salman can come on set and just shake his belt and the film would become superhit.

Well, look at Salman's weakness : he has limited acting abilities PLUS he doesn't experiment with genres after 2010🤣

I just read this article and am more confused than ever

What my layman brain has summarized is:

Salman has more fans, but Aamir is ahead in the numbers game. Isn't that a contradiction?
