The trolling point was fine actually. She has a right to like whatever trailer she wants. Just like we have a right to boycott whichever movie we want. BUT it slowly became an article about why nepotism condemners should support the movie. So it was more of a cry about being a victim of trolling turned into a publicity stunt for the movie. Very craftily written.

I agree to most of your bits where you talk about scathing hatred being wrong but as they say until the lion decides to write his own story, people would always side with the Hunter. The sheepish yet self-righteous proclamation of being party to this rotten system was commendable but we could immediately read through the reeking holier than thou attitude!

It’s like telling everyone : “See, we accept our mistakes but hey,this movie is about patriotism, feminism and a national Hero/SHERO : Gunjan Saxena!

Sadly, your movie or not, the REAL Gunjan is a HERO/SHERO! We DO NOT need your movie affirmation to RESPECT her! It’s a story that needs to be told, but so are other stories too which you chose to ignore and turned blind as a bat.

And, wow, let’s not even bring the talented Dr. Vineet Kumar Singh in this debate. Dr. Singh is an MD in Ayurveda and Gold medalist. It takes 8 years to get all that education while struggling and he has struggled for years before finally getting recognition.

When life is served on a platter, mediocrity is celebrated! Let the Gunjan Saxena story be told with a Jhanvi, I am sure there’s no harm in it. It should be told. But, don’t cut a sorry figure and call yourself as a victim!

Your web of paid PR throttled many great films and talents. Now, that you are being called out, it hurts, doesn’t it? Given this tragic incident of Sushant’s demise, your ivory towers are starting to crumble. So, now why the hue and cry?

I am sure the trailer would have stormed with PR stunts had not there been a massive backlash fear from the audience.

Nonetheless, coming back to the topic at hand, the points are valid!

Calling out and ranting with acidic vomit 🤮 on social media is equally wrong as deliberately promoting mediocrity! Do read your own words, it’s actually time to introspect for everyone.

Anecdotal: Every artist has a journey, a process, a struggle. Art is not serendipity but a skill that gets better with age and time. Let the tinsel town kids too experience life, learn and then find their own path. Once upon a time, cinema was about society, now it’s just about vanity!!!
