Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions left out of ‘Gunjan Saxena’ trailer

Amidst the growing hate against star kids and film families, trailer of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl has decided to do away with Karan Johar and his production banner Dharma Productions name from the credits.Johar has been accused of promoting nepotism and star kids blatantly in his projects. The charge has intensified ever since the self-made actor Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai.Throughout the trailer we see no names of any member of the cast or crew.

A source close to the development revealed that at first Netflix had decided to strike-off only Karan Johar’s name as producer from the trailer and retain the rest of the credits. But then the creative team felt that would look most conspicuous. So they did away with all the credits.

The film will release on Netflix on 12th August 2020 and it is left to be seen if the same will be followed for the final film.

Whether they keep his name or not... if this movie works he will be benefiting financially from it... Not watching this movie though Gunjan is an inspiration...

Its a big blow to his ego and reputation... So its netflix that omitted him...

Mark my words..: He will be out of Sooryavanshi too.. Its based on Mumbai police too ,who have become a joke... So many negatives for the movie

Netflix releases all originals with only their name and no crew credits. You can see that Dharma wasn't included for Guilty as well.
