No Ishakaran def thinks there more powerful people involved. He is working for Dr. Swamy who has been trying to get a CBI inquiry approved. But than in Jiah Khan's case even they got corrupted. But Dr. Swamy ensured in the Sunanda case they didn't. They def think the murder itself is linked to Dawood. But they will work to get down to whatever the truth is.
While it is heartbreaking for Sushants family and us to think that he could have been saved if only the police had acted on time, I would like to know realistically what the police could have done. What does the law say the police can do in such a case, can someone well versed with law answer? Could the police have gone to his house and told his girlfriend to leave and if so on what basis? If the basis is that she is a threat to Sushants life, then dont the police need some proof to back this up? I am not supporting the mumbai police by any means, they have handled this case in a shoddy, non transparent way that screams of cover up. But I genuinely want to know what they could have done in February to get Rhea/anyone else out of Sushants house and life.

The family was clearly told at that time to make a formal complaint, which they refused to. Why did they refuse to make a formal complaint, if they were so concerned? Why didn't they never follow up on this from Feb to June? A question nobody is asking.
I'm sorry to say this but the family also handled this whole affair in a very unusual manner. I know for a fact my family & friends would've filed an official complaint. At least someone would've come visited me, if not taken me away for a while.
