And a majority of those with depression that do commit suicide are those with untreated depression. So the fact that he was on anti-depressants hurts their narrative.

He had a personal trainer. You know how much exercise helps you. It released endorphins into you brain naturally. Endorphins are the chemicals that are lacking in your brain when you have depression. Endorphins are hormones that naturally put you in a more positive, happier, and balanced mood.

In general, this might not really be that true but we aren't talking in general here. We have a particular case and we are seeing things unfolding everyday that drags the case away from being a suicide.

In general -

People with depression can get suicidal thoughts.

People with depression cannot get suicidal thoughts.

People without depression can also get suicidal thoughts.

Suicidal thoughts - when knock your head - it's incredibly hard to resist. They are that strong. You know how hypnotism works? Suicidal thoughts sort of works in the similar way. It's almost like you are hypnotized to get up and finish your self.

But this is general. In this case, we have pretty much a lot of things that takes this away from the possibility of suicide.

Imagine throwing your client's trust, all the ethics under the bus to cape for an individual his family has filed a case against. At least don't do it in the garb of eradicating stigmas around mental health. If anything shit like this will make more people fear if they should seek help or not because trust is incredibly important in that equation.

As for what he was specifically struggling with, I'm sure there are prescriptions out there, patient history with his psychiatrist. You can't just throw out any term out there when it comes to the spectrum of mental disorders in a petition and be like yeah...this comes under this umbrella. If someone is going out there making videos of themseleves in order to reach the public then that means they are acutely aware of everything they are putting out there including this sham of an therapist and the petition itself which stated what it did.

I dont disagree that it was wrong of the therapist and ill advised to put it out there in the public domain- but assuming that this woman is not lying and has the evidence to back her claims in the form of patient history- it can still be used in court and will not be considered excluded because it was publicly shared

Also legally speaking- petitions are not necessarily super specific or detailed. Once they have the hearing, they expand on the words, terms and argument made in the petition- so the petition cant be treated as inaccurate for not detailing the medical condition. Meaning it is a procedural issue of the petition, rather than a question of misinformation. The legal team would be handling this totally- not Rhea

Honestly I dont know. Will literally now depend on the evidence of this woman.

Google mata says..." Depression" can be unipolar or Bipolar.

Bipolar depression is part of a larger condition called bipolar disorder. Specifically, the “lows” that you may be feeling, those moments of hopelessness, these are the possible symptoms of the depressive moments associated with bipolar disorder. Bipolar depression is a lifelong condition that creates unusual mood changes that can vary in length and severity. You can go from feeling revved up and euphoric to feeling down and hopeless.

What is one trying to establish here that he died by suicide and that it had to do with whatever mental health issue he was struggling with? Okay....point taken. If that is the narrative that they are going with then how come his own girlfriend at the time was clueless has she has stated since then in a public statement.

Also whether it was depression or any other mental health issue, does it then invalidate a probe into a lot of what his family has alleged. If there is an iota of truth to what has been alleged then it should be even a bigger offence that someone who was struggling with all this was being manipulated and taken advantage of financially.

My point is - her license cannot be revoked for this- atleast not in India- although Im not sure if this is where she lives. And yes, there can be several other angles, I've no inkling of the legal strategy of either side but if this woman has evidence then proving that he did have whatever mental health challenges she has stated is a massive inflection point in terms of establishing a correlation in behaviour and motive. There can be more to it or less to it, Rhea could be guilty of other stuff, but it weakens the case for abetment- which is a difficult proposition to prove to begin with.

Obviously Im not privy to the full facts but just stating what I know legally.
