Wow a doctor coming out and informing media about Sushant 's mental health. Who needs a Rhea when the doctor is like this.

This interview seems like a white washing of Rhea rather than talking about Sushant’s struggle with his mental health-if any!!!

So, a few questions:

1. Why open up now only for Rhea? Where was the tribute, eulogy etc etc earlier? I get confidentiality yada yada but why give an open interview? Reveal to the authorities.

2. I hear Bipolar & Hypermania: So, could she care to elaborate?

With utmost sincerity about mental health issues and total sensitivity to people who deal with it, I would say a simple thing- If indeed he committed suicide due to mental health issues, why not let the investigation and probe done properly!

We all need to know the truth and Sushant’s death mystery needs a logical closure.

Loss of such a talent has opened conversations! What has Sushant’s mental health issues got to do with the following facts

1. Does that absolve the hideous way the industry works and the nasty blinds or nepotism? It exists and causes mental trauma to lot of people.

2. Does that absolve this mother like figure whom he barely met for 1 year and her family who just ‘ TOOK OVER’ his household?

3. Does that explain various inconsistencies in the investigation and calling it a suicide within 15 minutes?

4. Can’t a person with mental health issues been taken advantage of? Can’t someone with bipolar be manipulated? It’s even more easier to block him!

5. Does this rule out the UNCANNY coincidence of Disha’s UNNATURAL death and Sushant’s death a week later?

Even if he was bipolar or had mental health issues, does that explain the strange things happening around him?

We might all be very of ‘THE MEDIA CIRCUS’, but this entire CONVERSATION is being Kept ALIVE because of that and opens a chance to INVESTIGATE a foul play if any!

Else, we would have written EULOGIES, cried watching Dil Bechara and move on with our lives. Maybe, Remember him once in a while followed by a string of conversations around mental health issues which is great! But, what if he was actually subjected to a FOUL PLAY despite being suffering from a mental condition?

Who knows there could be really something sinister going on??


People with mental health issues deal with a lot of problems. If Sushant did too, there’s nothing to be ashamed about it. The entire EPISODE is not about his mental health, it’s about so many inconsistencies in the narratives!


If Rhea is INNOCENT, then also the TRUTH needs to come out. I don’t believe in MEDIA trials but the media has kept the conversation alive!

Neither of the aspects should be ignored.

This case has literally divided into two groups one that believes in depression other that believes in conspiracy. It's extremely difficult to say which group is right or if both are right but people should stop giving verdicts.

The entire thing is fishy and this it needs to be kept alive but baseless rumours such as existence of black magic, should stop.

And I agree the tragedy has shown the world the dirty side of Bollywood hope now that will get cleaned up

Don't worry single interview with arnab would clear this up like pithawala and sandip guy has been proven as liar.

If they are anything like a regular family and people who care for their son, I won’t be surprised if they choose not to talk about his mental health or downplay it.We humans, especially Indians, put a lot of value in protecting the dead loved ones’ reputation, honor and modesty.

What happened to Dr- Patient confidentiality? Why would some Dr come and openly declare what SSR was suffering from on SM?

I agree about the groups and the crazy stories about black magic etc.

I don’t think the point here is about who is right but about ‘WHAT IS THE TRUTH?’

Let’s ASSUME that he was indeed suffering from bad MENTAL Health Issues, it DOESN’T change the fact that too many INCONSISTENCIES have been revealed in this narrative that need to be EVALUATED, INVESTIGATED and discussed.

I have full sensitivity towards therapy, mental health issues and other psychological challenges. Conversations SHOULD revolve around them but this death is more than what meets the EYES!

Coming from a family that has NOTHING to do with this circus but to know the TRUTH.

On an unrelated note, takes me back to Sushant’s work in Byomkesh Bakshi where the character says: Nothing happens without a reason.

So, in short, even if it’s a suicide, I want the reason to come out!

As much as I HATE the loud mouths and crazy media, but THEY have played a CRUCIAL role to keep this DISCUSSION alive despite the attempts to bundle it off as a Suicide without proper investigation!

Let say even if he have bipolar disorder, which I don't believe, why is she giving clean chit to Rhea, say he was mentally ill, why to make a hero out of Rhea ?
