Interesting. Is she a psychiatrist or a psychologist? In the US, usually a psychologist can not prescribe medication or diagnose something like bipolar disorder without specific training (which she may have).
His family, friends, and flatmates knew nothing about this therapist? Or maybe they just never mentioned her...? If she is speaking publicly now, I wonder if she will talk about the medications and treatment he was receiving. Had he stopped taking them?
I have a good college friend who is bipolar. She is brilliant and creative, but I can always tell when she is not on her meds because she literally messages me paranoid conspiracies about politicians, the military, etc. When that happens, her family steps in and forces her into a hospital until she is stabilized.
However, it doesn't sound like SSR was visibly experiencing anything like that, except maybe some paranoia after Disha's death as described by the friend.
The whole situation is very sketchy. The trust in the Mumbai police is lost. This still needs a CBI investigation. They may come to the same conclusion, but I believe people will be more ready to accept it.
That’s what’s suspicious about this. I mean she’s putting her license on the line because she couldn’t take the media reporting irresponsibly?? Give me a break.Doesn't India have patient confidentiality laws? Talking to the police, or the family and their lawyer is one thing - contacting the media is quite another.
Can someone clarify to me, if bipolar disorder can happen suddenly? Don't have sufficient knowledge.
If you genuinely want to know about it, best is asking an expert but a better way could be googling it yourself and learning from some reliable sites.
This is , not an ultimate authority , but a fairly reliable site.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bipolar-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20355955#:~:text=Bipolar%20disorder%2C%20formerly%20called%20manic,or%20pleasure%20in%20most%20activities.
People want to know each and every details and gossips.. before even investigation is complete. They watch all channels 24X7.. talk on on-line platform and continue being sherlockhomes every day.
Political parties use this opportunity as talk whatever they want..
People like Kangana talk any shit she want..
But if a doctor said the fact... it hurts ??
It just proves that there is Zero awareness of mental health in india..
Well if she is telling the truth then she must take the required evidence to police. That’s the only thing to do. Right now everybody is saying different things difficult to separate truth from the lies and propoganda.

Bold - I was about to post same question? In India a non psychiatrist or a non MD is allowed to prescribe medications?
So Bhatt’s diagnosis was wrong? Or did he hear voices too according to this therapist?

SHe is fine with losing her license but not about whats going on in media about a patient's girlfriend.. Daanveer karn..
The constant words such as - it's a stigma, it's shame that depression is not accepted etc.., stressing on it and making it look like as if its a untouchability sorta disease is really not expected from a therapist. I just felt uncomfortable listening to it. I think she also used the words they were wanting to "hide" or something on those lines. Sick.
Lmao rhea maata motherly figure 🤣. I mean come on, at least make it believable.
