The only thing which would bring us relief was listening to songs and singing them out loud. Cant remember the number of times we sang Everybody.

The crowd must have hated us but we were too stupid to realise.

I used to watch ‘Everybody’ on repeat as a 5 year old who had a sick fascination for horror movies and aspired to become a vampire when I grew up. None of my cousins would play with me because I’d make them watch the song with me 100x and tried to force these little cowards to watch Chucky with me.
