I totally understand EXOL. And I will do my best to make things crystal clear next round. But you all need to understand as well that there are bound to be a few surprises here and there. I will never do anything that will give any team an undue advantage, but everyone likes small surprises. Hufflepuffs were pleased to find out about the extra 10 points. Just as I'm sure you and Slytherins are about finding out that you got 10 extra points for being first to submit names.

Let everyone enjoy their small wins. The big wins will only come from playing the rounds and doing well in them. Not from these things.

If only you had announced them at the same time we would have not got surprised . As a prefect it’s my responsibility to make sure I am not losing anything coz of my carelessness .

Arre Ravenclaws were still shown somewhat thanks to Luna. But Hufflepuffs were literally shown around Cedric and Zacharias. They were completely sidelined. And because of that there is an internal bias in everyone. Like when I first started typing out the names of the houses, my hands instinctively typed Gryffindor first. Or when people chose teams, Gryffindor and Slytherin got the most names. Then it was Ravenclaw. And finally Hufflepuff.

So true. Hasn't Slytherin House got a good record in every thing they do! (House cups, Quidditch Cups) (correct me if I'm wrong)

If not anything that's where the leadership and ambitious aspects get you. As far as cunning goes, like you said no one was completely white in the series either.

Absolutely. So next round going forward I will announce the number of surprise bonus point categories and I'll try to group them. But no promises on the second. At the very least you'll know the number of categories. Like this round has 6. You will know that at the very least.

Snape was mean to HP and Gryff until his true intentions were revealed. I don't think his sacrifice whitewashes him. He was a d*ck to everyone except Slytherins.

Slughorn in an interesting character. I think he was a good guy, and from what I remember, I don't think he expected Tom Riddle to use the horcruxes on himself. He was duped into giving that information.

I think Salazar just had a bad name for his house with his purebred BS. The house itself is good, but developed a bad reputation.

Hufflepuffs only got some recognition in the 4th book thats it. Its hard to believe such a house wasnt given its due recognition

The thing is some of the house favouritism still shows unfortunately. Like majority of the available merchandise is Gryffindor's. Poor Ravens have 'raven' for their 'eagle' house emblem at times in certain places

They almost won the House Cup in year 1. They won the Quidditch Cup for 7 years in a row when that first year happened.
