Ishita went smiling thanking Raman while he was just looking at her smiling.
He turn to go inside his bungalow when he saw ishita's mother standing looking at him.
Raman-kya hua,kaki??
Amma-aapne phir usse paise de diye,sahab??
Raman-uska birthday hai aaj,party deni thi usse.
Amma-phir bhi sahab,itne paise mat diya kijiye usse,mujhe achcha nahi lagta woh iss tarah aapka faayda uthati hai.
Raman-faayda,kaisa faayda kaki.usne toh kaha bhi nahi,maine khud diya hai ,apni khushi se.bachchi hai ,khush rehne ki umar hai uski .waise bhi usse muskaan dekh kar achcha lagta hai mujhe.lagta hai kisi ko toh khushi dene ki takat hai mujhme.
Amma-aisa kyun keh rahen hai ,sahab.aap toh bahoton ki khushiyon ki wajah hai,itne achche joh hai.
Raman-haan achcha,aur akela.ishita ko kuch mat kahiyega,maine apni khushi se diya hai aur uski muskaan ke liye diya hai.he said and went inside the mansion while Amma was just looking at him.
Amma-itne achche hai aap sahab,pata nahi murugan ne aapke saath aisa kyun kiya,kyun aapki saari khushiyan cheen li.kuch aur toh nahi kar sakti aapke liye,par aapki khushiyon ke liye pray jarur kar sakti hoon,murugan aapki saari wishes puri kar de aur aapki zindagi khushiyon se bhar de.she prayed to the almighty and went to resume her work.
Amma was the senior cook and help in raman's house ,her work is to instruct and supervise other helps ,basically she took care of raman's and house every need ,but there was not much work in the house as Raman use to live alone in the mansion along with many helps and their family.
Raman's parent died five years ago with his wife only after a week of raman's marriage.yes ,Raman got married when he was thirty after much insistence of his mother ,but unfortunately his wife and parent died in a plane crash going to her in law's house.raman was also about to go with them but because of an emergency ,he couldn't go and got saved but his family died leaving him broken and disheartened.
His only family is his sister simmi who lives in USA and want to see him settle again.so she use to pester him time and again to get married again but he is totally not interested in getting married again.so from last five years he is living alone but his life changed a little after ishita entered his life.
Ishita use to live in village with her uncle but she came to Delhi after completing her twelve to get admitted in college.
Raman saw her first time wearing half saree while her hair were tied in two braids.she has applied chandan on her forehead and was just looking around in amusement.
Raman was lost seeing her simple beauty and was just looking at Ishita when Amma called ishita and said-yeh mere sahab hai,aur sahab yeh meri beti hai ,ishita.abhi twelve pass kiya hai,bees saal ki hai.
Raman-bees saal mein twelve paas kiya,kaafi late nahi hai??
Amma-haan sahab,but gaon ke school se padhi hai naa,wahan sab bachchon ka der se admission hota hai.
Raman-ok,ab kya karegi aage??
Amma-graduation karna chahti hai.
Raman-ok,koi help chahiye hogi toh bataiyega,he said and went while his eyes were going to her again and again.
Raman was trying hard to stop his feelings for her thinking she is very small infront of him,he is 33 while she is just 20,so basically they have a huge gap of 13 years ,so he don't wanna think about Ishita,but sadly he couldn't stop thinking about her.
From that day,ishra use to meet again,sometime they talk or sometime they just exchange a smile.
Raman helped ishita to get admitted in the college she wanted and she start going to college happily.soon she start grooming and changed much of her attire and behaviour like a college going girls.she started wearing salwar suits and jeans .though Amma always restrict Raman from giving any money to ishita,but he loves to see her smile,so often help her.
Today was her birthday,so Raman gave her money and she went happily to enjoy her day.
After sometime,Raman came down and amma start serving him food.
Raman had his food in complete silence and then was going to office but turned and said-shaam ko cake banwa dijiyega.
Amma look at him and he said-ishita ka birthday ghar mein bhi toh celebrate hona chahiye.
Amma-its not needed ,sahab.
Raman-do it or else I have to pick a cake for her.aur haan thoda decoration karwa dijiyega ,she loves all this.
Amma-aap uski har wish puri kar dete hai,sahab.chahe woh kahe yaa naa kahe.
Raman-toh kya problem hai,bachchi hai,thodi khush ho jaati hai.
Amma-bachchi nahi hai,sahab.22 ki ho gayi ,usse bada hona hoga.kuch saalon mein uski shaadi hogi,usse mature hona hoga.har koi aapki tarah achcha toh nahi hota ,sahab.
Raman felt uncomfortable hearing about her marriage with someone else but composed himself and said-jab hogi,toh sab seekh jayegi.abhi toh enjoy karne dijiye usse, cake banwa dijiyega,I will be back till six .he said and walked out while Amma was just looking at him thinking how good he is to help her and ishita always .
