I understand your point of view. But in all this I somehow constantly find Shrishti and Sameer to be the biggest culprit. Sameer passes information to Shrishti but rarely if ever actually helps her out. And Shrishti with her Karan puran does one stupid thing after another and Preeta has to come and take her out of that situation. It happened during the alimony thing as well as the engagement.

One has to also keep in mind that Mahira wasn't completely evil prior to the whole nonsense that happened in her engagement. Being tied up and basically kidnapped by ones soon to be fiance's estranged wife's sister, to whom u had specifically asked about the status of her relationship can tilt one towards the wrong side of thw scale. 😆

@Bold: True true. I thought she would do the sensible thing and back off knowing Preeta & Karan were already in a relationship but nope. Madam Murko ki Mahrani had to step in, didn’t she?

I understand that Rakhi did not do a lot of things. But I don't think she is a hypocrite she simply was never shown to be strong enough as a character. The reason why I brought up Sherlyn was because Sarla on that fateful night went to Luthra house and slapped Sherlyn. Preeta's status as Karan's wife is questionable because the marriage between Karan and Preeta is questionable. We all know how Karan has behaved, maybe even Rakhi could see that Karan isn't/wasn't appropriate for Preeta.

But even more importantly Rakhi was specifically shown to be gullible, naive and most importantly dominated by Kareena. One of the primary reasons why Kareena started disliking Preeta wasn't because she was middle-class it was because Preeta was giving Rakhi 'wings' and to ensure her dominance in the Luthra household Kareena brought in her bestfriend's daughter Sherlyn into the picture.

@bold - Neither English nor Hindi are my natives. The syntax of my native language is very different. It's not always easy for me to have a discussion due to vocabulary/grammar deficiency. So I assume sometimes my words may not sound very polite. I guess so☺️ Therefore I want to clarify once again that I have never intended to be rude disagreeing. I do agree that Rakhi is dominated by Kareena. Still I think that Rakhi had to find strength (as she is a mother) to go to the Aroras that night. She had to take Karan to Aroras too... Make him apologize and ask Preeta if she still wants to be Karan's wife. If Preeta said no then make Karan give her a divorce/annulment. If she said yes then take her to the Luthras as a bahu. My opinion is based on Rakhi being a very religious and traditional woman. The marriage is questionable in terms of law. But they are married in terms of religion. As I understand it. Then I don't understand how come Rakhi is OK with dusri shaadi. Yes, she was shown not being happy with this wedding. But still she accepts it. She fails as a mother to make her son understand his mistake. She fails as a friend of Sarla enjoying Karan-Mahira's mehendi at KKB hall. Just remembering those mehendi episodes I want to 🤢 😆

She is not that bad for me as dadi. But I can't forgive her for being unhelpful and selfish about her son's happiness. Being myself a mother of a daughter I can't understand her weakness. Maybe because I have no son😆

Right? The Mehndi/Engagement episodes make me want to puke. Imagine being married and have to see your husband marry someone else for the sake of teaching you a lesson over something you’ve never done?! Imagine seeing your in-laws celebrating it and dancing and enjoying, people who were super close to you in the past. You would think they would’ve been super happy to have you as their daughter-in-law but it’s someone else they’d prefer, someone else they love. Preeta is what you would call a strong woman in a sense of having to witness all of that and not do something to harm herself because she simply couldn’t bear seeing it all...

As for Rakhi, god knows what this woman wants. Maybe she should stick up to Kareena and claim her right over her sons because right now, it looks like Karan & Rishabh are her sons and not Rakhi ‘s ✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼

As for Begairat Baani Daadi, I hate her ✋🏼✋🏼 She so ungrateful, I hope her leg breaks off completely, the very leg Preeta always treated ✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼✋🏼

Kareena at the very least is consisten, she never liked Preeta or the Arora's and she never pretended to do so either. She in fact believes her best friend hence her trusting Sherlyn makes all the sense in the world.
