and more than all this the USP of our show courtship is totally getting destroyed bcoz of this.... there is no guarantee that people will point out how courtship has led to this entirely flipping the concept of show... and also showing that marital courtship can be bad too i dont know what to say...

. i didnt say it till now but saying it to you abir is totally missing out on the balance he had between family n mishti, ofcourse we get his mindset n its hard to see him like this but knowing the effect its gonna have n the way he is handling all this doesnt seem right... but its gonna be intersting to see abir coming out of it more stronger too... 👍🏼

mishti is the one now stuck in between poor girl is like the most obvious one like how abir all this time clueless only knowing there is something wrong....

@bold: hifi Diyu! I completely agree. I really don't think 'fake pregnancy' was the appropraite choice to highlight their message at all. What kuhu did (drunk 'suicide - she claims she wasn't going to jump off, but still was depressed)) is a very common but sadly real thing that happens.

I was going to PM you or Uru about my thoughts, but though why not make it open to discussion:

Faking pregnancy? No way have I heard any girl fake her pregnancy just to get married to the guy she wants. It sounds stupid to me.

Wish they chose another way instead, to convey Ketki's emotional desperation.

They already have a solid critical message building up with Mishti's self defense attack to highlight it is not the women's fault. Why add this pregnant-before-marriage thing as well?

I'm scared about that wrong message about martial courtship being spread too - they will end saying things like giving too much freedom is the problem.

There are parts that I'm really liking in this track...but at the same time (just like usual) RS is bringing the quality down with poor writing in other aspects of the story

@bold: yes I know. But like I was saying before; Mishti only answers back especially meenu, when it involves her pyaar or her BM/BP.

If you're talking about that one time: Mishti-Meenu at temple. It's a scene after meenu successfuly breaks off mishbir, through blackmailing but still making it look like it is all Abir's decision. But Mishti clearly doesn't want to believe it, she's in denial and senses kuch kaala hai daal mein - hence suspects meenu.

Remember she says those iconic words "aapke ek nahi dono bete kho denge". But flash forward to the day mishbir's rishta finally get's fixed, Meenu snarkly reminds her of those exact words, and Mishti immediately regrets it being apologetic.

That's what I'm trying to say. Although Mishti has the courage to speak up forherself, she many times gives in to society when the blame is on her. But if anyone tries to aim or hurt her pyaar, her abir or her BP/BM she immediately stands up. Whereas, when people constantly point, aim and insult her like they have always been doing since her childhood, she returns back into her shell. It's Abir who has been bringing her our of that guilt mode - trying to bring her her mind out of the pyaar vs ehsaan muddle.

Mishti's mental status is not something that can resolved with just a few months, even with such a strong supportive rishta and man like Abir, changing a person's mindset (like we all know and can see with BB) is extremely hard - even a perception about yourself, is difficult to change especially when the longest time in your life from childhood, everyone has been calling you the same horrible names.

Just my take on the situation. sorry I've rambled on.

I too agree that the writing has often gone down the drain, but we've seen that happen in each track, character traits have been compromised for the sake of storyline and trp, we just have to accept and move on.

I totally agree with what you've said. Mishti takes on the angry chorni avatar for others, and very very rarely for herself, and so far she hasn't when people have called her home-breaker and ehsaan and all that stuff. It's like deep conditioning and will take a lot of time to come out of.

Actually he struck so quickly na nandu. She was upset about the whole thing and hardly any time had passed. He suggested it and it was immediately put into action. He didn't give her any time to think of pros and cons of this. By the time she realizes this was a stupid idea, it will be too late.

@Bold: I totally agree. The thing that is irking me is the fact that it is all a fake act. If Ketki was indeed pregnant (barring the covid limitations), just as a separate track - pregnancy-before-marriage would be a very contentious **especially for our conservative indian societ/viewers, a real pregnancy track before marriage would be too risky and controversial for RS (i personally not aware if any other shows have dealt with this issue). Maybe that's why they made it a 'fake pregnancy'

But that's why I cannot buy it. I just can't get on board with that thought process with Ketki. I get that she's worried sick for her rishta second time around. Uru did a good job in trying to explain Ketki's thoughts and emotions, which I understand to an extent, based on her past rishtas. But I just personally, cannot connect with her on that decision.

I think Nidhi maami has already done the honours of slapping Ketu.

So no more thankyou, in my opinion.

I just wish they chose a different route/idea to show Ketki's desperation and worries.

Haan exactly, we're all too fed up with the repetitive dialogues about Mishti this, Mishti that etc etc.

It would be nice if they can have them low-key simple dialogues against Mishti 's act of defense and then focus more one Abir and Mishti's words about standing up for each other.👍🏼

I know it's still too hard to believe Kuhu, if she does change. It's the writer's fault for flipping her soo much in each and every track. Exposing Ved was the only time Kuhu thoroughly supported her and did not throw her under the bus (if I remember right). Otherwise, all other tracks, the writers had her support mishti in one episode, and then back-stab her the next. THat's why it's so hard to redeem her. Writers missed the biggest chance to redeem her during mishbir break-up time. still salty abt that

anyway moving on... (glad we're all in the mood to talk n discuss🤗)

haha we can only hope n pray they finish this track properly unlike past experiences. The show's legal and police systems have always taken a big hit😆 Never makes sense.

Remember Abir-Baba last scene (the awesome jeep ride😎): Abir "calls" the lawyer and tells Baba that they will officially write a contract not wanting the property and heritage.

Daya actually what we are saying it why to take up such a concept which is so risky n sensitive... its not about ketu but CVs who are giving out a very wrong message over here... but like uru said they are willing making a joke of their own concept...
